- Hi everyone,
I have made this video regarding the current reality of jobs in Canada from what I have seen. I have also shared my job experiences till now since I came to Canada. Likewise, I recorded this video while going to my Part time job that I am currently doing on weekends.
I hope you like this video and make sure to comment on what you like about it.
Either students are hyped on coming to Canada, or they come here extremely demotivated.
My sole goal of this video is to tell you the current reality/situation of jobs here in Canada
I have shared my job experiences as well in this video.
I hope this helps.

Please note, this is not a guide to come to Canada.
DISCLAIMER: I would like to tell you that everybody's experience is different while looking for jobs in any place, but there are extreme situations where people have a hard time finding for jobs in Canada for even more than 3-4 months ( Not all the people while there are some individuals).

My sole goal of making videos is to make the content that we often normally tend to ignore but have a huge impact after we come here in Canada.
I don't have any plans of putting how to score good on IELTS and PTE or videos related to financials which I believe varies according to an individual.
I want to make videos that portray the reality of the society over here and break the misconceptions that we have of Canada that really affect us one way or the other. I hope you understand.

This one of the comments from my other video that I uploaded earlier.
Specifically Barista matra haina I will try to give you an answer to your question for the skills you need to learn.
Hopefully I can give you an overview of your question from what I know...
1. Don't learn a specific skill if you are thinking that getting a certificate will get you a job.
2. Certificates don't get you jobs, especially here in Canada.
3. Invest your money to properly learn the skill that you're learning.
4. Regarding Bakery and Barista jobs, here the coffee market is flooded by Tim Hortons, and other fast food chains so it's hard to find the jobs in this area.
Khasai kam lagdaina bro so nagara tyo chai kinaki I also did Barista and even worked for 4 months in a cafe but it was no use to me over here.
(Not the same as Australia so it's better you learn other skills other than this and the pay isn't that great.)
The baking industry is huge here and it's very hard to get a job as a baker just after coming to Canada.
5. You might get a job of you learn skills like nail art, hairdressing ,hairstyling or bartending.
I can't say it's guaranteed that you will get a job but it's better if you have some skills that pay very well rather than the skills that don't even pay that much.
Try to get as much experience and become confident in the skill before coming to Canada.
Aahiley it's harder than last year to get a job in cities like Toronto and Vancouver but I think it's temporary so keep this in mind. It will be hard to find a job in fact you might struggle or might not.
If you get lucky then you might get a job and they pay really well too if you can get the jobs in the field specified above point

There's no such thing as best or worst city. It is always subjective to the person. The city that's best for me might not be best for you..
Just choose a city on the type of course that you want to study..

Which city is better for Nepalese student bro?
There's no such thing as best city or best anything brother/sister.
That will always be subjective i.e it will always depend upon the individual.
For example I like peaceful and less crowded place while my other friend likes crowded city party life.
So I hope you understand but for now I can say that due to the job situation and housing crisis it's better to avoid Toronto area until December.
But make sure you research properly before making any proper decision.

How is the condition of job now a days
Aahiley it's harder than last year to get a job in cities like Toronto and Vancouver but I think it's temporary until December it will be really hard to find a job keep this in mind.
If you get lucky then you might get a job within a month or so but there are people that have waited 3 4 months to get a proper survival job.
I would say it would depend on person to person.
Aaba feri kasto generic answer deko vanlau but yestai hunxa sabai ko path same hudaina it always depends on the person and his/her surroundings.

Hello baini for that it would be better if you can connect with the people at the place that you want to go.
For example I am currently in Regina and if you are coming to Regina then I would be able to help you look for the place. ( But it's not guaranteed as I still have to look for the place over here and usually rental booking is a tedious as well as a long process in some places )
You can also find the places in Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, etc but you are more prone to rental scams if you do the processing online as you wouldn't even know if the place that you are offered exists or not.
So I would suggest you to be aware about these scams.
If you really want to connect with the people who are already here the the Facebook group is the best place.
