Perfect little home track! I finally have a use for all my eva foam squares 😂. I have a bunch sitting in the garage collection dust! This is going to be fun!
I like this, I tried to order my mini 96 from eliminator. My bad, it's backorderd. So I bought a roll of 3mm rubber 4'x25' roll. I'm going to use your bumper idea for it.
I’m trying something similar but all foam tiles on Amazon don’t “look” smooth… I’m new to Eva tiles, is the other side smooth if one side is “textured”?
Full send with what you got! Maybe just mark out your lines for your track with bright green masking tape, and your eyes will adjust to it fairly quickly
@@ProNoobRC I went with 5 4 packs of the Eva foam from harbor freight I’m going with pvc for my sides tho. Drill holes every in and string a led light for light on each side of the track
@@ProNoobRC Thanks for replying so promptly. I am waiting for my kyosho Awd Toyota supra readyset to arrive later the day. Can u confirm that u can drift in this track u have made? Cos I watched your other video on RCP mini 96 track, that unable to drift.
Quarantine ideas ... nice 👍
Ooooo yeah!!! Gonna get a timing system today!
@@ProNoobRC love to see that video!!
Ok ....this is awesome 👍🏾
Right!? So much fun!
@@ProNoobRC harbor freight here I come.👍🏾

Easy cheesy! Man these cars are fun!
@@ProNoobRC totally, I have another one in the mail, a rwd one.
@chad sulski sweet, I'm looking forward to racing in it. I've ordered a lap counter set up too.
@ProNoobRC I bought mats do you run on smooth side or textured side ?
Great idea for a basement area 🤔🤔🤔
Hi... Nice job👍... my planning build for kyosho D nano scale..
I would love to find a pair of D nanos!
@@ProNoobRC yes couse dnano rare item. Hard to find in LHS.
Many thanks for sharing! Great idea, did you use the smooth side on the back of the tiles? Cheers

The RCP is the same thing, just fancier. I have built an EVA foam track 16 x 30 in my basement For a fraction of the cost.
Agreed! Much cheaper and works the same
Yes and no. RCP is modular, allowing you to design different track layouts.
How much thickness was it
Do you put the texture up or down?
@@jared966down, the raw foam is better for the tires
Awesome idea, how thick are the EVA tiles, 1/2 inch?
Yes 1/2”
How does the surface texture compare with the RCP foam?
Personally, I liked it. It was a nice happy, medium between high and no grip.
Did you use the bottom of the tiles as the surface or is that the top you race on. Thanks
The bottom side.. tracks for sale still if you’d like it.
@@ProNoobRCdid you sell the track yet?
How have you done curbs?
Hot glue and clothed matt’s cut in strips
Coloured
@@ProNoobRC So you just (hot) glued the borders/bumpers to the track?
Can you tell me the rc car that u use in this video ? , can give me link to buy ??
Kyosho mini z Mercedes
@@ProNoobRC may i now the scale of the rc, is it 1/24 or 1/32 or what??
Is this good for drifting as well?
Oh yes!
@@ProNoobRC really? On the smoother surface?
can you just use the colorful pads for bottom of track or does it have to be the black eva foam?
Any colour works!
reason i ask is i have a lot of colorful ones no black ones and dont wanna buy if i dont have to

Fucking sweet. I want to get into these so bad but they have become hard to find lately. What would y'all recommend for a first mini racer?
