We've been running on these tracks for 13 years, every Friday night all winter. 7 guys racing they last about 6 years. Amain hobbies has it all and they are very helpful.
For anybody in the comments, complaining about the price, you are paying for the fit/finish and convenience of just laying down a ready to run track. Sure, you could make your own track, but how much is your time worth and how much effort do you really want to put into it?
I absolutely love my 50cm rcp track....if you own a mini z or any of these rc cars they tested this track is a MUST HAVE! I cant even tell you how many hours i spend just killing AAA batteries in my mini zs, i also got the Losi micro b and its a little much for this track but turning the power to 50 or 75% definitely make a huge difference
One thing I have heard is that the side rails can kind of "grab" the cars when you bump into them. I hear folks add something to them (tape?) to smooth that out. Be cool if they could offer that as an option / revision. Also for those who have used this, is it possible in some way to stack the barriers on top of each other? Wonder if you get a track and make it larger for say those micro-bs or similar larger mini cars, with higher barriers can prevent people going over them. Looks fun though.
X2 for the lap monitor. I've got one, just need to be able to buy transponders in the USA. For cheaper too. Some rc timing systems are better and transponders can be had for much cheaper than lap monitor. But for the versatility, lap monitor is the business.
Rcp is the only way to go for miniz. I have ran the same 5 sets of wide L rcp for the last 15ish years and the side rails are starting to show some nicks from cars hitting but they last a long time . We only race once a week with miniz during the winter months but it keeps the reflexes in check during the off season. If you think the 4wd miniz is an advantage over the sr you should run a mr03 against the sr and make a direct comparison The 2wd mr03 is a better handling car. Plus the short wheel base of the rear motor sr dosent do it any favors. Get the mid motor car and compare it to a 98mm miniz and you will find that the 2wd miniz will run laps around the sr.
Back in the day a group of us had an x mod racing league and the one dude had made something very similar to this using garage foam floor tiles and hot glue it was kind of jank but it worked we all kind of wished we had this there was something similar to this back in the day I don't know if it was this same products but seems those kyosho Mini-Z and those have been around for forever probably
the price for what you get is Amazing, we use the crap outta my track everything from 1RC oval to 1/18 rally. now gearing up to run the Losi micro b on it, have not had to replace a tile due to "wear" yet and we have been using the track solid for 5 years =/-.
11:32 why have you run out of time to do those things? If you had to give them back and you're not going to get them yourself, that seems like you don't think they ard worth it. Was thinking about buying the MK ones up to then.
Literally hundreds of dollars for foam, this hobby needs to get better about some of the pricing for simple stuff that should be cheap. I see no reason why this is any better than getting some yoga mats for waaay less and getting the same result.
Yuck 4wd and a fwd. You boys need the easy lap setup and pull out a few mr03's. Then do a lap comparison. Granted they all need tires from what they come with. LM may have a slight advantage on some track setups. Give some tires to that sr27 too.

The best indoor modular tracks you can buy 🏎🏁
Longest and most inclusive ad I've seen in a long time
This would be setup in my living room, but I'm married

I was just looking these up and didn't know where to find them!
Reassuring to know even the pros struggle with that setup
This looks awesome and want that Z car. I jumped into 1/18 two years ago after always being a 1/10 guy. This would be next step!
Now just add Lap Monitor to the track and buggies and you can race for a pretty reasonable cost.

Looks just like the track I did my first and only XMODS race event on about 20 years ago.
Mini Zs are the modern Xmods for sure 😂
Soo cool!!!
Hi, is this the same type of surface as mini z tracks ?
30 yrs later these catch on? 😂
genius. take my money
nice 👍👍👍
Nice
This gives me a reason to clean my basement 😂
Does anyone know what protocol the SR27 uses? Need Help Binding To Radiomaster Mt12

Doing a series where you race monthly for a year to test durability would be appreciated.
Imagine that they go half the speed. The cars are going to fast.
Alain - what is the footprint of that track!?
I need one of these for my 1rc late model
Where are the new Micro-B battery brace and body?

Any chance you’ll set up this track from time to time and we can start a mini race series at HQ?
SOLD!! BOX IT UP!

What, Mini Z uses Philips hardware?
In 2024? In this economy? Localized entirely in Bizarro World ?
Manuel is so disappointed and mad.
Hope Manuel is going to make it🙏
I regret selling my two mini z. I had it all setup
Everyone always wondering why the blue civics are so fast.
The answer is obvious. VTEC. hahahaha
You should drive the mini b on the big track
Hey I’m a local at this place and I actually did drive the micros on the track and they make it around just fine. Good times.
ok, but why the costumes?
This was filmed on Halloween
Looks great but price is way too high!
thanks for the 12 minute ad video
Man that price is fucked

RCP is more of an engineered foam that provides really good traction and the seams are always tight and level.
How much? lol
Hundreds of dollars. Like $300 to $900 RIP ⚰️

4wd is the best. Idk what you are on about
Brett, you really need a double bacon cheeseburger, your ribs are showing
He just looks normal and healthy, something we admittedly never see, assuming you live in America.
@@GeddyRC Missed the joke
Meh. I grew tired of the obscene amounts of grip on the RCP surface. I far prefer carpet. It's a shame because I really like Mini Z.
So fancy yoga mat$
$450 for a couple pounds of foam is insanity.
There pricey but you cant build it to the same quality for cheaper from lows or home depot.... those foam matts are way WAY over priced on shelves
It’s not the same material
looks like a $99.99 track not $399.99
motion sick nightmare, terrible camera work
