- As we fight for racial justice we must be aware of the philosophies of the world that are not biblical. Cooper stuff talks about the important topics of critical theory, cultural Marxism, and how our racial problems are sin problems.

Please continue these explicit rebukes of untruth found in the modern progressive culture. Sugarcoating untruth will only harm us all and separate us from truth and God, ultimately.

Mr. Cooper, you’re always right on with the Bible! I love how you use it as your defense and offense. Up to two years ago I didn’t know much about Skillet, but wow, you’re the real deal. Unfortunately I had multiple Christians say that Skillet is to mainstream, and they didn’t listen to you all at all. I use to be a huge Petra fan because of their rock solid Biblical stand! Skillet is right up there too!!!

I keep watching this! I’ve now played it for my 3 teen sons. It’s the best explanation I’ve seen . It explains why BLM felt more justified in their “protesting” during COVID lockdown, but outraged for Trump rally. Especially why they felt it was Ok to block entry to the rally or even to block anyone on the roads for that matter! It just didn’t make any sense to me? But it’s clear, this Culture War we are in is not about Equality..it’s about the flipping of power. So thankful our identity is in Christ, and He is on the throne🙌🏻

John, can you do me a personal favor and talk about Jon Steingard leaving the faith? I have been a fan of Hawk Nelson for a decade and a half and it's heartbreaking to see someone who seemed so passionate now denouncing his faith in God, I would love to hear what you think about that subject. Hawk Nelson was a defining influence in my middle and high school years, and I feel so betrayed hearing that Jon had pushed the band in a more overtly Christian direction specifically to gain popularity in the contemporary Christian industry even though he was already doubting back then. As one bass player to another, I am asking you to please don't let this opportunity pass by to talk about real vs cultural Christianity, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on Christian music culture and Hawk Nelson in particular.
This was great! Very refreshing to hear. I really would love to see more of our fellow Christians speak up against cultural Marxism. Not exactly a light and fluffy topic for Sunday mornings... but I feel we NEED to hear it more than ever! This is all setting us up for one world religion at some point. All attempts at social justice and peace are so frail unless Jesus is in the center and the root (SIN) is addressed.

I seriously agree. While I have been posting in my Instagram Stories of ways acts of wrong through racism has occurred ranging from red lining to compulsory sterilization, I know I have been hesitant, because I have seen the extreme road. In the end of this extreme road, if this "freedom" is granted, I can picture the roles being reversed where Whites are treated the same way that Blacks, Hispanics, and others have been treated, which is no better than what was done in the first place.

The whole "woke" movement is a rip off of the new birth that we as Jesus followers have experienced. Satan wants people to be born again (woke) unto darkness. Another example of how the evil one twists the truth. Mockers are gonna mock and scoffers will scoff. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Also, let them persecute us. Like Jesus told us in John 15:18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."
Thank you John, last week's and this weeks Cooper Stuff has been amazing. You are plainly laying out what so many Christian's feel or may not fully understand. I see the division coming from inside even churches and it is all the enemies doing. It is heartbreaking. I think we all agree here, racism is bad, hurtful, ugly and there must be change, but with the cancel culture in full swing, I have had a hard time on social media. All I can say on my page is that God created us all in His image....ALL, and he takes it very personal how we treat His children. We must be on the right side of this issue but also not be deceived. Eyes open👀👀👀
Yes, Bible was manually written by men, but with the “Pneumas” hovering Spirit of God inspiring them exactly what to write.
Thank you for sharing this. I've been so torn in my heart over all of this. I'm still a bit torn about what to do. I felt like God was putting on my heart to make a video where some of my black or biracial friends share personal stories about how they have experienced racism. My point being at the end of the video that yes, they are black or biracial but that's not all they are. They are doctors, teachers, mothers, fathers, they are humans and it's okay to see color as long as that's not all we see. I'm form because I don't want to be apart of what you're talking about. I don't want to be fueling that fire, yet I do feel the compassion in my heart to share stories because hearing stories of real racism from friends has helped me have empathy for those who aren't like me. Again, thank you for sharing. I don't want to be apart of anything that goes against God's word.

It's so reassuring to see a "celebrity", who also knows what he's talking about, speak up against this after one has seen every other one, along with all the corporations etc, following it blindly. This has been going on for decades, but it seems to be getting even worse, so hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel...

I'm having a hard to understand this but I think that John's words are very powerful and I'll always agree with you. I'm a Christian too. But, I'm a 13 year old teen who watches Cooper Stuff and a huge Korey skillet fan. I love you and your wife a lot. I want more cooper stuff with her in it too. This podcast learns me so much of stuff. I love philosophy and Cooper Stuff a lot. I love learning things from you cause you're the best. Skillet's the best too. I've been a skillet fan for a year now. But, that's ok. I remember when I fall asleep with one of your songs Anchor. This is the best podcast ever. It'll learn me to explain things better. I like explaining things but I have a hard time to do that kind of stuff. I make videos about this and skillet including my favorite game too. You people are the best. I want this to be over. My skin tone's mix. I loved this one. Important things in cooper stuff gets way too hard for me to understand sometimes. Probably cause I'm 13 and about to be 14 on August 14th. Love you and Korey a lot... I hope that you and Korey doing amazing. I'm kinda sad. I've been sad for a long time. I never got to go to a skillet concert yet and that makes me very sad. @@An0male I check out christian music and the first song of it was a skillet song. Then I listened to it and I go in love into the song. So, I started to listen to more songs then watch skillet and turned into a huge fan. Korey's my favorite skillet member and I'm a huge skillet fan. I also have a favorite game too. Deltarune's my favorite game and I have youtube channel about deltarune and how huge I am with skillet.

Hey John, have you considered uploading the podcast in audio-only format to a second feed? I listen to podcasts a lot when I'm driving or working but it takes a lot of time and data to download each video podcast episode, so it would be awesome to have an audio-only version to save space and time.
I totally agree, it's tough in the current political climate to decide where you stand. I've been realizing recently that I am privileged because I'm a white Christian male and I've been given a lot of leeway because of that, and I stand beside my black friends and family. But I can't defend the violence and persecution that's being caused by the BLM movement. Destruction and murder are not the way to reform a nation. But I understand the frustration where people are coming from. The political climate of the USA is a mess right now, and I don't have any answers besides prayer and humility. Honestly, I have to wonder if the USA is the "feet (made) partly of iron and partly of clay" mentioned in Daniel 2:33. It would make sense, as America is the "Great American Melting Pot" where all cultures and religions merge, leading to a relativistic culture where there is no real truth. Honestly, I tend to be a bit pessimistic toward politics and I think America is probably beyond salvation due to our wickedness, but I hope I'm wrong. David was not beyond salvation when he sinned with Bathsheba, and I hope our nation is likewise willing to repent.
Our Cause is the Kingdom of God which includes all races... if we build the Kingdom we are doing what we were called to do... not fight racism because in the kingdom there is no racism

If anyone calls John a racist, shame! We shouldn't call others racists because we don't know their hearts. We have to be careful of what we say and do. I won't support Defund the Police.
