This really caught me too. So true. To some people though it seems they first need to hear „you’re enough“ due to their low self-esteem and then „you‘re not enough“ because Jesus has much more for you. What do you think about that?
I first heard Skillet on a CD borrowed from my church's library in 1996. Of all the Christian CD's I borrowed and listened through those years, little did I know that the faithfulness of John to the Gospel would be just as alive then as it is in 2020. 2mins in and John has already summed up the last 3 years of my church life. Seeing the deterioration of the church (and my church in particular) as the months have progressed makes me question whether I want to return to my church (not church in general) when this is all over. I haven’t watched online church (if you can call it that) for months, neither have me or my wife had contact from anyone in church and I know for a fact we are not the only ones. This isn’t just happening in the US but here in the UK too.
Fraser Graham I won’t be returning to my very lukewarm excuse for a church where the stamp of covidic (not Dravidic!) fear has left its mark (of the beast!) ha, that was fun to write!

For me, it is all about being faithful in the Lord. It is sad that there are some Christian leaders who already tolerate what Scriptures teach and they are just abandon the truth. It’s kind of amazing how much God’s design for pregnancy and the intertwining of mother and baby…like it’s so perfectly constructed to where the baby is so apart of you as a mama..yet so distinct and separate, that literally the only thing that doesn’t make sense is abortion. When I lost my baby at 12 weeks pregnant…it was very much a thing that was happening TO ME. Very much traumatic for ME. Because it was like a medical situation for me and an emotional upheaval and so much sadness and everything. And yet my life went on without my baby. Because my baby was a separate person who died..like it’s just crazy how connected you are to your baby they really are APART OF YOU, yet that’s the thing that makes them such a responsibility and such a close and protected part of you. The fact that they are literally part of you is not a reason that you kill them it’s the reason you don’t.

We need to have compassion for women but tell them what we believe and why. Many women are hurt physically and mentally because of abortions. Listen, my friend, stop feeding what we’ve all been groomed to do, which is deny our own inner intelligence through the false belief that unless you have a THD, you don’t know what you’re talking about. In addition to knitting you in your mother’s womb with an awesome beard and raspy voice, God gave you a mind, and more importantly, He gave you passion. Passion is greater than purpose. Purpose is external, it’s about the results everyone else expects. Passion is internal. Passion is about identity. Passion is infinite because passion is the reflection of God inside of us. God didn’t do anything unless He was passionate about it first. But how many times are Christians told to stifle their passion? They are told their passion is selfish. I’ve seen it over and over, Christian leaders dragging people down because passion makes them uncomfortable. Is it because they have sold out? David wore his passion on his sleeve. I’d go so far to say king David was bi-polar. There would be no room for his passion in the mainstream church today. Think about that.

Truly sickening and depressing. And not the first one I've heard saying that, you can add to that list Michelle Williams, Chelsea Handler, Uma Thurman, Keke Palmer, etc. In fact, just Google "celebrities who've had an abortion" and you'll find that nearly every single one of them says that the abortion allowed them to have a successful career and even later be a better mother (!) and "have a beautiful family when the time was right" and such stuff.

His self-depracating is only true in the sense John’s wisdom is from God, not from himself. Many smart men and women become wise in their own eyes, but God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble who seek Godly wisdom.
If people stopped having sex outside marriage - where God ordained it - we wouldn't have this problem. Sin - mainly fornication - has caused all this mess and people want to have their sin and eat it too! Oh and when did contraception stop being a choice if people must sin? Righteousness, Justice, Love Kindness and Truth are the foundations of His throne! He will not mocked!
Couldn't agree more! We tend to prioritize certain sins and elevate them, because they are either deemed acceptable or celebrated by the secular world, (even though all sin is equal in God's eyes). No one (in general) thinks murder or lying or theft is acceptable.
I believe that what we are witnessing as whole denominations abandon sound biblical doctrine and turn instead to emotional, feel good heresy is the great apostasy of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3.

My heart just broke... how selfish and disturbing. I don’t even know what to say for that women. Her poor heart. Lord please open these peoples hearts and minds to your word and will.
Truly sickening and depressing. And not the first one I've heard saying that, you can add to that list Michelle Williams, Chelsea Handler, Uma Thurman, Keke Palmer, etc. In fact, just Google "celebrities who've had an abortion" and you'll find that nearly every single one of them says that the abortion allowed them to have a successful career and even later be a better mother (!) and "have a beautiful family when the time was right" and such stuff.

GREAT PODCAST! Keep it up COOPER STUFF! IMO, I see part of the problem is with the title "Prolife" that tends to NOT call elective abortions, murder. I've been following ABOLISH abortion groups, as they talk more about the SIN of elective abortion/murder. Btw. I bought the book!!! Can hardly wait to read it and share it with my Panhead 37 yo son, that "left" the faith a long time ago💔🙏✝️ And who's on his shirt? Is it R.C. Sproul Sr.?

If people stopped having sex outside marriage - where God ordained it - we wouldn't have this problem. Sin - mainly fornication - has caused all this mess and people want to have their sin and eat it too! Oh and when did contraception stop being a choice if people must sin? Righteousness, Justice, Love Kindness and Truth are the foundations of His throne! He will not mocked!

We tend to prioritize certain sins and elevate them, because they are either deemed acceptable or celebrated by the secular world, (even though all sin is equal in God's eyes). No one (in general) thinks murder or lying or theft is acceptable.
I believe that what we are witnessing as whole denominations abandon sound biblical doctrine and turn instead to emotional, feel good heresy is the great apostasy of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3.
