Assange is not being sought for failure to reveal his sources. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit computer intrusion (hacking and stealing of information) and violations of the Espionage Act. Not even close to being the same thing!

Why do we need another law when it's already the 1st ammendment. Maybe it's me and I'm stupid, but I don't get why a law (press act) is needed.
It should NOT be needed as the 1st Amendment protection of the PRESS is just one of those many INALIENABLE rights which this corrupt government has ZERO authority to remove or interfere with. But the same press has actively participated in the INFRINGEMENT of the ONLY Right in our entire Bill of Rights which contains the ABSOLUTE, legal MANDATE of: "Shall not be infringed". So, are we to shed a tear for Journalists who advocate for our Rights to be infringed when their rights are being infringed?
