I love the look, because I live in Montana near the mountains and winter is just getting started. That means the ground will be white until probably May ❤. Spring basically doesn’t exist here - it goes from frozen ground to summer in 3 weeks. The pine branches will last me until Easter …
I purchased a large storage box from Sam’s club….it holds my main Christmas tree, some smaller Christmas trees and my wreaths for all seasons for my front and side door!

This year I'm doing a romantic winter decor. I'm using white pom pom and white crocheted snowflake garland. I'm also using blush and soft rose pink with my pillows. I put some soft pink heart decor around my rooms. My slipcover sofa is a taupe color so I have the browns and grayish beige colors. my linen pillow cover has white knotted hearts on it for my accent pillow. I found it on Amazon. it's so cute!) Anyway I'm good through February 14th then I'm going to decorate for spring.

Loved it! I loved seeing your rug. My husband watched with me. I told him, "that's why I bought the rug." Still happy with the the rug. It's made me happy. I decorate mainly with greenery. A few white flowers too. I've gotten rid of more decor. Simplifying is my goal for 2024.

I love the look of winter. I’m not a glam, glitter person (except at Christmas, of course). But, I love, love the frosted florals. Walmart carried frosted boxwoods years ago which I still use and love! I live in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina so I can leave the winter look up for a while! Yay!

Emily it’s still NY Eve here in the UK so this was great timing for me as I plan to take down my Christmas tree and decor in the next few days and, I was watching and was going to ask how to style a large vase with a narrow top then you brought out a very similar one to mine that you placed on your coffee table thanks for the inspiration

Hi Emily! I also like to do post-Christmas winter decor, and I actually took down on Tuesday (the 26th) my specifically Christmas decor -- anything red, like the berries in my garlands and red candles, or glittery or anything with Christmas sayings, as well as my tree. But I left out my greenery (minus red berries), pinecones, and switched out red candles for white. I love how it makes the house feel calm and clean but still festive. And honestly, while I know that Christmas technically doesn't end till Jan 6, once the festivities are done and presents are opened, the decor makes me feel a little sad. Hope you had a great Christmas and have a happy New Year!
