I just saw the video of the Jersey mother who had just beat leukemia and was then murdered by her ex-boyfriend when she went to go pick up her belongings. These stories of women being killed by former or current boyfriends/husbands are becoming common news stories. But people wonder why so many women are choosing to remain single.

It hurts that man is given the freedom to just take away life this way. Why can't disagreements just be that? Why is this always the only option of resolving a conflict these days? A much needed educator, mom, relative and friend gone forever too soon, and will be missed by so many. Prayers up for the reporter Steve as well. Everytime I see him he is reporting something tragic. I fear that after a while it will take its toll on him if not already. I get its his job but he is still human, a man, and has family that needs him too, in fact extending to all front line people. Praying for them all and their mental health in general. Sometimes wishing I could meet him on the street just to be able to ask him if he is ok. Sometimes seeing him report tragedy back to back same day. God bless this man and hope is ok inside. ❤🙏🏿
