Las Vegas Vlog Day 1 - Luxor | Vanderpump à Paris | Gem Bar | New Friends!

- It's May 2024 and we are back in Vegas! On this trip we stayed in a couple of hotels we've never stayed in before -- the first being the Luxor. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were upgraded to a one-bedroom suite in the West Tower and it was very nice. It was a shame we were only there for one night, but we’d be happy to go back.
After an early morning drive from California, we needed some fuel - liquid as well as food - to power us through a long, fun day and night. We (Gillian) began with bottomless mimosas. After trying hard to find that bottom but never quite doing so, we then headed from the Luxor to Paris, where we had food and cocktails with @TomMindy at Vanderpump! It was our first time meeting Tom and Mindy in person, and they could not have been more kind or more fun. They were just as we expected them to be, and we had an absolutely fantastic time.
From there, it was off to Aria, where we met up with the always awesome Kenos 💕 - @KenoKid and Kandi - and we had the pleasure of meeting Carmen and Corey from @stickyfingersinvegas and Mitch from @mdhslots7674 for the first time! @JoshRachael made a surprise appearance too. What a fantastic group. After some slot play and many drinks and laughs at the Gem Bar with Mitch, we walked with Mitch back to NYNY, where he was staying, and made our way back to Luxor via Excalibur.
Another great day and night in Las Vegas with friends, old and new. Stay tuned for more fun with Tom, Mindy, Carmen, Corey, Mitch, and the Kenos as we hang out with them lots more during this trip.

The crispy mimosas were a very nice way to start the day 🥂☀️. We were surprised by how nice the Luxor room was, we were not expecting that! It was great. The Luxor suite looks amazing, especially with that huge bathtub. Looks like you guys are off to a great start on your Vegas vacay! When the bottomless mimosas really live up to their name-no bottoms and endless laughs! Your honest review of the Pyramid Cafe is much appreciated. Very fun return to Vegas! Gillian I totally get what you mean't by "not crisp" with the mimosas and it's annoying to me when I get them like that. Frank was very nice and Jon I love how you're a sucker for punishment with Dragon Link and More Puff lol. Maybe we will get the invite next time to these fun group hangouts 😜. Our next trip we are just gonna sit at the Gem Bar till people arrive 😎
They gotta be crisp. But let’s be honest, I’ll drink them even if they’re not 🤷🏻♀️. @kenokid and Kandi are basically in Las Vegas 24/7, so if you just go to Gem Bar anytime you’re in town there’s a very good chance of finding them 😃. I think crapper is the technical term for the toilet 😂 Pyramid cafe has always been semi decent when I have been there but they do lack in seasoning their food. Still, they get the job done.
I really like the Luxor Tower rooms (even with the 1/4 mile walk). I had a 2 bedroom suite a couple of years ago that was incredible. Unfortunately I don’t get those comps anymore after I lose Gold status 😭
Vanderpump looked fabulous, it was great seeing Tom and Mindy, I’d love to meet them one day. That was some top class people at Gem Bar too.
