Yeah I agree like I know you start off a superstar from fh4 but I would much rather earn it. I'm not even joking I got gifted a divo and a pagani the first 10 minutes of playing
Pedestrians would make such a big difference to the game’s vibe, all of the houses out in the wilds would be so much better if they just had a couple sitting on the porch or something
Would be wild if you could get out of your car. Heck, even a mode where you can walk around the house you just spent 7 Million credits on and maybe play some mini games.
Would be cool if we could see planes and helicopters flying around the map...and let the volcano get active once a while..a game mode of "aviod the lava flow" would be cool too
The Horizon plane does fly occasionally around the map, but it's very rare to come by - And yeah having the volcano randomly explode would seriously be cool
@@YuwanThayakaran I've never seen that plane bruh😅 but I meant like constant flying around at certain parts of the map...I think the game should have an active airport too...planes flying in and out you know...flying across the sky
For me there are three main reasons why I think FH in general is feeling dead after a while 1: As you mentioned, the traffic should be way smarter and there should be a lot more traffic so you can have fun trying to drive as fast as possible through it. 2: You get everything way to fast. You have to play like 5-10 Hrs max to get so much money that you can buy mostly all cars and tune them. It would be way funnier if you had to race races to earn upgrades for cars and so on. 3: Exterior tuning. If we had way more different exterior tunings at every car it would be way more interesting and fun to make car meets.
I think you can sum it up quite simply. The biggest problem with Horizon 5 is the atmosphere. The game doesn't have any. That's why the game feels so dead.
I actually prefer FH4 over FH5 purely for the map! Driving around in FH4 feels and looks so much better in my opinion. I play mostly on a wheel setup with h-pattern and clutch, so I really enjoy cruising. One of the biggest things missing from FH5 for cruising is more areas where you can park! I actually had to start FH4 all over again, and I'm doing it with no HUD and 125% difficulty on my wheel setup, using the GPS voice to find my way around - it's such a great way to get immersed in the game again. 💯 I definitely think all the Horizon's could do with more life in the world, such as pedestrians (as you mentioned), more wildlife and other forms of transport like planes flying around, maybe more traffic in certain areas? And 100% on traffic having more intelligence - they should be more aware of the players! If you have played the original "The Crew" game, they had a bit of that happening and it bought some life to the game world. I remember seeing military jets and helicopters when you were close to military bases, huge planes landing and taking off near the airport, wildlife, police, etc. Things like that, make all the difference...
To me the original Forza horizon was perfect in terms of story, interaction and everything, a revamped Forza horizon Colorado, with the new cars, physics, and off road and water would be the perfect game
Map was kind of boring though. 4 and 5 have more realistic maps, but 1 wasn't really a realistic representation of Colorado IMO. It looked like Colorado but didn't have the recognizable places like Edinburgh in 4.
@@Wft-bu5zc yea, I think that was them testing the waters, but an updated Colorado map with the expansiveness of fh5 and all the off road and water availability would be awsome
@@Wft-bu5zc All of FH1's roads were fun and memorable, you definitely can't say that about any of the other installments (maybe FH2). As a Coloradan, the locations were clearly fake, but it felt like they definitely fit the look and vibe of towns I've been to... In fact I almost prefer locations being fictitious, since the roads can be as fun as the devs want them to be
At least in 4 one thing that added a lot of atmosphere and "liveliness" was that the seasons actually made a huge visual difference. I feel like they swung too far in the opposite direction after people complained about winter and now the seasons seem to barely change anything in terms of visuals. Going from the very green summer to the yellow and orange fall felt great, even if the only thing that really changed in terms of gameplay is a couple of puddles. That also helped set it apart from the other Horizon games, despite the once again very, very similar gameplay. And the previous expansions were a very different kind of atmosphere to the main map, like the snow island in 3 compared to the main map full of deserts, jungles, palm trees and sunshine, and then there's the rally expansion in 5 which is just going to be... more of the same as the main map.
What i love about the first Horizon is that you HAVE to use the roads. I think the roads in Fh3/4/5 are way too wide, straight and you can just fly across the whole map. No challenge no fun
I just realized that's what i miss the most about fh4.. There were certain fun locations where you were almost guaranteed to meet other players at any time,it made the game feel a little more alive for sure
It still is the best Horizon game to me. Sure, the graphics arent the best, the map isnt large by today's standards (it still looks and feels great tho), the car list is relatively small (even then it contains a lot of classics and iconic cars) but other than that it is perfect. There you feel like you are part of the festival, not like it is just an excuse of a background, and actually having progression and rivals was a great thing that should have stayed
I think that something we could potentially see in the future horizon games is where you can go on a bridge to another part of the map, for example if you look at fh4 map you can see manny bridges leaving and it would be so cool to be able to drive on them
One of the great things about the Lego expansion in FH4 was that the Airport wasn’t abandoned, and i honestly liked that, it made the map feel more alive.
for me its mainly the car sounds that don't work they are a huge improvement from previous games but the quality of them make the cars feel like some sort of toys, especially when you rev them out it would be better if they sounded more like those in asseto corsa
In Horizon 6 They need to have a better autoshow, pedestrains on the sidewalks like in Horizon 3, Modern cities, people on the beach, and maybe a bigger festival. for me, that would make it more alive.
Easy to complete story Bland boring map design (it’s mostly sand) The festival is quite boring The drag strip doesn’t have any lights so you have to trust that the other person won’t do the 3rd honk early
There might not be any traffic due to limitations with the older Xboxes. Hopefully the next Horizon game is for newer generations cause its really keeping them from potential.
a massive thing for me i hear no-one mentioning is the roads. they are way too big and don't feel fun to drive on at all, the wideness plus how stable the camera is gives the game no sense of difficulty or speed. taking a look at dirt rally is a great example, because of narrow roads and the great camera movement and shake, you feel constantly on edge and insanely fast even when going only 88mph. the offroad sections are okay but the way the cars handle over them doesn't incentivise proper rallying and doing it with actual rally/offroad cars.
Honestly they should just chuck in a modern city with pedestrians and traffic like fh3 into the map. Theres already a lot of empty space and wouldnt take too much work as long as they dont make a whole other story for it.

The thing that kills the game for me... the fact that they want me to grind for a car once a season, I find this as a complete bore to the game being forced to play or else i wont have the newest car.
Forza needs an autoshow that actually feels like you're at an autoshow. Every single Forza Horizon game features a non-show autoshow that's really just you flipping through a catalog.
And also there is no snow in the winter!it feels so bad and it doesn't make seasons different from each other.but winter in Forza horizon 4 was amazing
The overall feel of Horizon 5 is super dead. I wished the mechanics from the previous titles had been added to 5 and the next titles that would make the players feel like they’re apart of the event.
I feel like the ability to go offroad anywhere kinda makes a map dull. I remember the old nfs maps (Underground 2, MW, Carbon. And horizon 1/2!) so well because you actually had to drive on the roads. You couldn't just hop off into the fields everywhere.
I can’t lie, I never use the radio in FH5, I’d rather have the soundtrack of whatever car I’m driving (yes, even the electric ones) Maybe some people think this is weird, but I don’t ever upgrade or tune cars either so 🤷♂️
We just need FH1 progression like the wristband system and earning money that was mostly bellow 10K and gatekeeping pries only rewarding u with wheelspins after a level milestone rather then constantly
It seems like 90% of Racing Game channels are crapping on FH5 and Forza in general right now - It shows a significant decline even in the last few months
On top of there being no progression, it also didn't introduce anything majorly new to the franchise apart from Eventlab compared to FH4. Eventlab is absolutely amazing and there is a lot to see and experience, but the game itself does very little to promote skilled creators and awesome maps.
To be honest, I wouldn't complain about the music at the festival side, while there is a way bigger problem you showed... Leaving the garage at a car festival and except for the crowd, there is just noone else. No cars, no nothing... Just empty streets.
Trying to see my friends who are in my convoy is difficult. I have to prompt a drag race and finish it with them. Only after the race we can all see each other in the same convoy. Annoying to have to do this all the time.
It would be amazing if i started from the bottom and scale my way to the top. It always feels weird how I start the game and everyone is just having an orgasm everytime anyone says my name.
There should be an option or game mode where you can earn money very hard and for start you don't get so much car and so easily.. Like you have a borrowed car and you need to earn your very first own car, and then tune it piece by piece and not instantly go up from 150-200 hp to 700-1000 hp. Everything should have a cost that you can earn really hard. Like in NFS Unbound.
UK maps will always be clear because it makes it feel for realistic i used to do police chases on FH4 with uk police wraps but it’s dead with mexico feels less real and this applies to all the other features
The most important part of an open-world racing game is the map. The entire free roam and every event takes place on these roads. In FH5 the roads are just... boring. The only road that is interesting to drive on is the volcano road. Why they only put one single mountain pass/touge onto the map is a mystery for me.
I planned to get the game, but got to try it out first when i got a 3 month (1 euro promotion) gamepass subscription. It was really sick, but after 3 months i didn't fell like buying it. I would love to playing it again, but not for full price at least.

Forza horizon 5 at the start of the game you get really good cars then the after that the story just get shoved in your face it really honestly is dead
Forza Horizon needs to bring back Rob Gorham to choose the songs for the soundtrack. He did that for Horizon 1 and 2 which is why those soundtracks felt so awesome. He actually founded Bestival. And we also need a modern city expansion. And some story cutscenes with cheesy characters.
They really need to make the map more modern and have gas stations and more normal cars. Idk about all of you but driving in nfs feels way more realistic because of the city's. Came with fh3 it feels so realistic. I'm a Forza guy and I would say that since fh4, it's been lacking modern stuff. Hopefully fh6 has cities in it and Japan
No progression feeling, no challenges, broken unbeatable difficulty which makes the AI either drive off any limits, literally testing you, or - when you overtake them - keep going behind you and acting like they did nothing. Also lack of snow can be underwhelming, knowing that even in Edinburgh you would never get so much snow as you could get in FH4. In general I won't say that FH5 is bad, but it's bland and lacks life, especially the first two months after the game's premiere where barely anyone could even log in at all. Also the super versatile Papa Fernando, the first man of Mexico that probably used "Vocho" to travel through time and space, landed on Mars in it, then took over and while coming back to Earth, visited Moon. All in that "Vocho".
I think its dead because its in Mexico nothing against Mexico but think we need it in Tokyo or somewhere like that just think Mexico was a bad location destination
Forza Horizon 5 was the worst Forza game made yet for it's time, I remember geting Forza Horizon 3 and I got so much joy, I played it for hours, now I have Forza 5 and it's boring, That's why I still play Forza Horizon 4, I love the setting of the game it just has such a cool atmosphere, I really want Forza Horizon 6 to be street racing that would be the best.
There’s nothing. It’s exactly how people stereotypically view Mexico. Just a million square miles of desert. Cacti, dead bushes, the odd town or farm, and then nothing. Everything is either so spread apart that you fast travel everywhere or it’s just not worth the drive. If this is “freedom”, then we’re definitely way too spoiled for choice.
I believe that one of the biggest problem is having an outside view of Mexico as a guide line, without considering that most countrys have specific culture, but also inserts in the modern world as any other one, nobody needs so much deserts in a videogame, but what about some citys? I feel like if they would make a Horizon about my country, Brazil, they would make a lot of beaches and jungles to show how "brazilian" the environment is, but most of brazilians lives in modern citys like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, where the car culture and street racing is very common. But the thing that bothers me the most is focusing so much in offroad gameplay... DUDE, that´s so boring. I don´t think they should delete all the offroad content, but having half of the events of the game being about this is just too much. And some of the races are just too difficult to win, even if you use a well tuned car, one wrong jump screws all you effort and you get stressed about a arcade supposed to be fun game. Last but not least, the sense of progression in FH5 is terrible. You start the game having a lot of high end super cars, so you don´t have to race using the starters cars or upgrade them. You don´t have to buy a specific car and tune it to progress in the game, because you can do any other event in the map instead, and you can enter the hall of fame without winning the final big races of each type of event. It would be a lot challenging if you won the higher tier cars, but only get to use them in races when you reach a certain level or win a difficult race. And I miss the feeling of becaming the Horizon Champion after some good progress and going all in with a final race. After all said and done... I don´t believe that FH6 will change most of this aspects.
it feels dead because you practically get everything at the start and there's no progression
I know I got the amg one after less then an hour whereas in fh3 I haven’t gotten the centiario yet

I've gone back to playing fh4 and to be honest it's been really enjoyable
We just need FH1 progression like the wristband system and earning money that was mostly bellow 10K and gatekeeping pries only rewarding u with wheelspins after a level milestone rather then constantly
no in game voice chat either, despite the menu and driver lists suggesting it exists
It seems like 90% of Racing Game channels are crapping on FH5 and Forza in general right now - It shows a significant decline even in the last few months
It would be cool if there was an option to have characters join you in events or random spawns to challenge you
Completely agree. The map feels like no one is living in it. You are just driving in an abandoned country
On top of there being no progression, it also didn't introduce anything majorly new to the franchise apart from Eventlab compared to FH4. Eventlab is absolutely amazing and there is a lot to see and experience, but the game itself does very little to promote skilled creators and awesome maps.
I absolutely agree with every statement you have!
Subbed mate.
To be honest, I wouldn't complain about the music at the festival side, while there is a way bigger problem you showed... Leaving the garage at a car festival and except for the crowd, there is just noone else. No cars, no nothing... Just empty streets.
ive completed all the main story missions.. theres nothing i wanna do, i dont wanna play the game anymore smh.
Needs more traffic. Smaller roads. Needs to be risks to going fast. More pedestrians. More random things in the map sort of like GTA.
Why they only put one single mountain pass/touge onto the map is a mystery for me.
the ai drive too slow too, like who does 45 kph in the countryside? No, they do around 70 kph in the countryside
I planned to get the game, but got to try it out first when i got a 3 month (1 euro promotion) gamepass subscription. It was really sick, but after 3 months i didn't fell like buying it. I would love to playing it again, but not for full price at least.
The main problem is that it's a pc and Xbox game and the last one is a huge limitation because of its max performance.
They should add more cars on the highway so we can swing in and out of traffic
I'm just tired of having to "LOGIN" on a daily basis to do the weekly stuff... it got OLD SO FAST IN FH4.... and the did the SAME SH*T in FH5..... come on FORZA!...........
Does it not keep you logged in? I literally never got prompted to after the first time I started the game
@@hello_alpine1693 like you can't go days or weeks without playing because by then the playlist is gone and the car to win is gone... then if you're lucky they might bring it back or you might get it during a super wheel spin.
Thank you,
@@KuyaArbee ohhhh, no I completely agree, I just misinterpreted what you meant by "log in" lol
The sandstorn wasn't the best but at least it would switch it up a bit
Forza need to add real life exhaust after you modified and also add cars that we actually can buy at autoshow
Of all the things you could of suggested, exhausts are what you first though of?
To me, the only thing you can do in Forza is step on the accelerator and never let go while causing mass destruction :'D thats just what I do when I get bored of a racing game.. just drive like ive lost my mind
the controll of the car change i cant understand it. i was playing on wheel with perfekt settings and over night everything was different , all cars feels like front gear can someone please explain did i do something wrong or was it the update???
The muffled music can be fixed with a muffled toilet club sound just saying it would work
For sure too little traffic in town.
Forza horizon 5 at the start of the game you get really good cars then the after that the story just get shoved in your face it really honestly is dead
the music still plays in the autoshow but its muffled
Forza Horizon needs to bring back Rob Gorham to choose the songs for the soundtrack. He did that for Horizon 1 and 2 which is why those soundtracks felt so awesome. He actually founded Bestival. And we also need a modern city expansion. And some story cutscenes with cheesy characters.
I’m just waiting on TDU3 atp
I never understand the perfect reviews of this game.
TDU Solar Crown out soon(ish) guys, don't worry
Bro im Tunisian and i understand all your video because im Bad in English language but i really like your video lol ❤️🇹🇳
i honestly forgot this game existed until now
They really need to make the map more modern and have gas stations and more normal cars.
You can actually hear the music in the autoshow.
I think its dead because its in Mexico nothing against Mexico but think we need it in Tokyo or somewhere like that just think Mexico was a bad location destination
Every forzathon was full of people in fh4, always seen people driving towards it. Nobody in fh5, no one at all. And no ranked playlist, a major issue
I bought FH5 last year and I have to say I am a bit disappointed, at least I got it half off though
Smoke slider, just like fov slider. Low, medium, high. That should be an option. Also adding for slider for console. That would change the game
