    I use timers too. They help my focus on many things. Nice routine. I too have a memory journal where I write the facts of the day and another book I add if I feel it needs more. I’m not good at planning ahead, but I love looking back and writing to my future self.

    Your husband’s game list is actually genius! My boyfriend always struggles to tell me what he’d like but he constantly talks about new and exciting games! Goodness, you have just made my Christmas so much easier. I love your videos. Your voice is super soothing, I’m currently journaling while listening to you as a asmr. Sending my best wishes to you and the family ❄️🤍

    Your video was so insightful! I'm going to try the idea of setting a timer to journal, because Lord knows just how easily distracted I get even if I sit down at my desk to journal 😂 Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you so much for making this video - it is *really* helpful as I am trying to figure out a journaling routine for 2021. I think there are so many options that I get overwhelmed and wind up doing nothing. :-)

    I love seeing people use their Hobo as a faith planner as well. I recently ordered an A6 from Etsy to use as a faith planner and today I ordered a cousin for work. I work in a school district so I definitely need to focus on the Lord and my current planner just wasn't keeping up with the insanity of distance and hybrid learning. I am planning to use my current (classic Happy Planner) as an intervention planner to plan what to do for student treatment.

    I absolutely love the Uni jetstream pens. But I recently sent Hobonichi an email asking if their paper is acid free and if the Uni Jetstream will bleed through over time. I had seen someone else mention that their pens had bled through after several years. Hobonichi responded that their paper is neutralized and that yes the jetstream Ink will, overtime, seep through the page. They recommended using archival quality pens to prevent this from happening. I was heartbroken and find it very strange that the pen they give out with their orders is not going to last. I just wanted to mention this to you since you do all your memory keeping using this pen.😢

      My cover is a gillio pocket xl, but pocket rings planners are pretty popular if you're looking to just try it out before investing in a leather cover. Moterm (a7) and filofax are a reasonable price point in my opinion and pretty available on amazon

    do you switch planners every month or so? I would love to use all of my planners but find it very confusing when I have to migrate stuff or look at past months for reference since they're all in different planners. Would LOVE to see a possible video on how you use all your planners too

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  3 года назад

      I’ve been in a combo of pocket rings / Hobonichi Cousin for most of 2020. But I do bounce around here and there. My cousin is the planner I commit to being consistent with at the beginning on the year so I only need to reference on place for previous months. I have a planner system video from back in July but I’ve got an updated one coming up in a couple weeks! (Spoiler the process is pretty much the same 😂)

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  3 года назад +2

      My pocket is my main planner! So it’s filled in real time / whenever I think of something and has more of a task focus then any memory keeping.

    Lindsey what is the purpose of a pencil board?

    • @lindseyscribbles
      @lindseyscribbles  3 года назад

      it helps keep the page smooth so the writing doesn't leave indentations on the other side. It's optional for sure!
