I literally have been searching for the last 2 months to see if someone had a similar idea to mine for a Bible study journal. Your method is identical! That is truly the Holy Spirit! My prayer plan is to purchase a new Bible, and a new hobonichi to use in conjunction. The Bible's I will give away, but the planners I will keep.
This is fantastic! I have wanted to try the A5, but wasn't sure how I would use all the space. Glad I stumbled upon this video today! Thank you so muchfor the inspiration!
I purchased a Hobonichi Cousin Avec for the first time to use as my planner for 2022 annnnddddd....procrastinated....almost all year. I just began daily Bible studies and thought, "Hmmmm...wonder if anyone uses the Cousin for that purpose and soon after your video popped up by "coincidence." I'll use Part I (Jan-June) for Bible studies and finish out the year with the July-Dec book as a planner to see if I like it or not. Really like how well thought out your set-up is. Thank you so much for posting this...and my mind doesn't work with the vertical sections either.
You have inspired me.... I bought a cheap old hobonichi cousin (from 2020) and started to use it like you, I don't mind that the days are a bit off... Thanks for the reading plan tip! I think I can manage this one!
I LOVE the Hobinichi Cousin, but I couldn't work it as my planner.....Now I have an idea for how to use the blank days in an abandoned planner AND continue to use the Cousin.....whoo hoo!!!
Thank you for sharing this! I was thinking of using the Cousin for my Bible journal in 2022 and I was looking for inspiration and this showed up. I love how you use the weekly spreads for sermon notes, I had no idea what to use those spreads for.
I used a Cousin for faith journaling last year and enjoyed it but decided to take a break from it. This video makes me miss it! Love how you're using it.
I love everything about this!! I wanted to change up my Bible journaling a little next year, and I’m definitely going to be keeping all of your ideas in mind!! Especially using the weeklies for sermons!!
Nice setup. I like how you use the weekly pages for sermon notes - great idea! I've been using a Rhodia Meeting book for sermon notes and just taking minimal notes in my Bible during my personal study time. I'm enjoying my setup for now, but I may try the Cousin in the future. Thanks for sharing!
I love this!! I was wanting to incorporate a cousin as my Bible journal but I couldn’t decide how I wanted to use it especially when it came to using the vertical weekly, but how you use it for sermon notes, it’s perfect!!! I'mI’m going to do that. I’m excited. Thanks for the inspiration 😊
Thank you for this video. I’m considering using the Cousin as a church planner for sermon notes and tracking events. I’m a gel pen user - Sarasa Dry Fit Which one do you recommend?
Thanks! I’ve just been a huge hobonichi fan for many years so I’m always looking for different ways to use their Tomoe River paper books, Lol. You could definitely do a similar setup in another planner or notebook. Thanks for watching! 😉
i'm literally obsessed with your handwriting. Love how you're using this :)
Lindsey Frazier Thank you so much Lindsey! I really appreciate your encouraging comments 😉

A. Wilkins Thank you & thanks for watching! 😉
Do you not use the yearly overview for anything ? Just trying to think of a purpose for that section.
I haven’t been using that section, but gratitude might be a nice way to use it 😉
This is awesome. So why the Hobonichi and not a cheaper planner?
