The plot of this event was amazing and I loved it.
Like many events in arknights, this one also took many inspiration from real life history and the part that struck me most was Rubio's speech.
I believe the devs most definitely took inspiration from the final speech of 'Salvador Allende', 28th president of Chile. On September 11th 1973, military coup d'etat occurred in Chile and despite the attacks and bombardments on the presidential palace, he stood his ground and made one final speech to the people, asking them to be brave in the times of trial and build a better society.
After the speech, he sent his family and other staff members out of the palace and also took his own life.
Thanks for the video as always man. Can't wait for more events regarding Siracusa.

I just find it so cool that everyone teamed up against Zarro. Demetri and Wallach could have just ran for it but they fought with their enemies.
Arknights... Were the mafia fought over a moving city that starts as a conflict between crime families ending with an immortal wolf lord annoyed that a pawn decided to smash the board before being bested by a penguin...
And yet this isn't even the strangest thing that happens while also making perfect sense.

I.. am actually so f**king mad that I missed this event. I actually really like the story now that I'm listening to it.. it's rly wholesome which I find kinda weird. Texas is LITERALLY my favorite character and what got me into Arknights. And finding out that there was a whole event based around her, I'm pissed that I didn't know about this sooner when it came out.
Texas alter is so fricking cool I can't- I hope the event gets a rerun so I'll be able to ACTUALLY experience it. I'm currently saving up 300 pulls to spark Texas alter one day, so pray that I get her soon.. 🙏🙏

Gotta say i knew this event was gonna be a hefty one. I had to skip much of the dialog scenes because when I play AK, so I'm very grateful to Frost and other story tubers for giving me a chance to listen to it.

Going through this finding out that Lappland is the daughter of a mafia don wasn't surprising. Somehow though, him punching her while she was in jail was VERY jarring and I thought to myself "There it is. That's why she's the way she is."
Lappland was already best girl but with this event, she surpassed perfection !
Now I understand why Frost didnt release the next video event, was cause this masterpiece of 40 minutes straight. Good work =DD
So the "grandma" Red referring to might be a wolf because according to her lore she was raised and trained by "grandma" and her title "wolf hunter" might come from her hunting other fangs
Her Talk 3 line says: "Wolves have fangs, I have my blade." now has another meaning.

Nah it's even better! Lappy makes a wolf lord submit for the first time in forever. Being a fang still means Lappy is Zaaro's pawn, but nah she's the one who tames the big shadow dog

Hopefully in the Siracusa event, we will know more or even see Lisa's mother in Siracusa since she is also one of the Capo, I'm curious what kind of woman her mother looks like. She must be her 30s knowing Lisa is really young.
I *still* sit with Lapland as my favorite character. Like damn. I don't like the connotations that kal'stit will send Red after her if she's become a Fang, especially since...she's an operator under the Doktar? I am not sure of the cannon there, actually. Anyways, being strong as hell, having that crazy edge to her personality, annnd silver hair, I do smell her dying down the line. Here's hoping my nose is broke
Also, Crowny is just wracking up those hate points for Rhode, on god. This is going to come to a head that'll look nasty. I really need to look into the lore from start to finish

i really loved this event. I give it a 9/10 just for some pacing issues and some characters just didnt get the developments i felt they needed. Wish Danbrown was in the story a lot more and I wish Texas' character development was more substantial than it was but overall, I really liked the cast for this event. Probably my favorite event by far

10/10 story loved it, also Being Lyudmila is suffering.(like for getting last 10 pulls for the 300 spark for this event i had to do lots of paradox simulation and had to bully crownslayer a few times... both in game and lore girl can't catch a break)

I would rate the story a 6, because I feel like Texas got way pushed to the side. Her moments of introspection, since she is a quiet character, are also very short. Wasn't expecting her to actually helm the tides of change in Siracusa, because she's Texas and we have Leon and Lavinia, but Texas in the end of the story is just... There. Like always.
The same old Texas, just more angry(?). Hell even Lappland, the sociopathic, for better or for worse, has a more clear character development than her!
And I feel that it doesn't help that she's still suffering from "I'm eternally plagued with a resting face."
So your ratings are based on the reason why a person has an alter, hoped there will be a immense character development/turnaround to justify the alters. For me, the only alter who has a development on their character is Skadi, and maybe Specter to some extend.
I will rate this story 8.5/10 because im biased (I like Italian mafia dramas). Besides, I like it when some games add real life country cultures and behaviors for a fictional countries in the said game. The atmosphere and the plot of this event is also likeable for me.
To put it simply, for Texas alter's justification, I will rate it 6/10, for the Siracusan lore and story, I will rate it 8.5/10.

One is Skadi, struggling to maintain a grip on her waning humanity as she becomes Ishar'mla, a veritable God for the Seaborne and the other is Specter, finally coming to terms with the fact that she's two persons living in one body and regaining control of her life.
We had Chen in a bikini, now we have Texas in different clothes xD.

The limited / alter character almost always be the frosting in the story when the whole cake being taken by the non-limited one.
"Same old Texas but more angry" ? I disagree. It's said that back then in the famiglia, she spared no one. If she's angrier in IS, she might just broke out the prison right away without even listening to Lavinia. She might as well attacked the Saluzzos & Bellones for scheming against Giovanna Rossati, her childhood friend, but she didn't.
At the very least, Texas resolved her own problem with Siracusa, with Lappland, and with herself. To put her in the same tier as female tourist C is a disservice to Texas' rich background story.
It makes me mad that you guys are forgetting Nearl The Radiant Knight.

Technically Lappland can beat Texas, Lappland fought Zarro to become an equal match head to head for 3 months. I doubt, even with many ppl involve Lavinia, Leontuzzo, Lunacub, and Texas had no chance bringing Zarro down.

I'm watching this because I skipped the whole story in disgust after getting porked out of 220 pulls on yet another limited banner (3 Penance, 2 off pulls. No Texas. I'm probably going to quit if this happens again out of boredom of having no new or interesting units to build.)
A shame, since the story looks pretty interesting.

Yeah, at first it's' really ANNOYING to navigate here and there, from stages to story, sidequest and all, it's a headache.
The story event? 8.5-9/10. The story atmosphere is *chef's kiss* perfection. Lavinia and Leontuzzo are stellar main protagonists in this mafia conspiracy story. But it got bloated number of casts that makes the story all over the place and less coherent. Tbh Zaaro and the whole Signori dei Lupi schtick felt so out of the place and seemed to just serve as reminder to players "hey Arknights is still a fantasy story!", but hey we got Lappland’s epic 3 month brawl from it lol. That, and kinda bummer seeing Lavinia in her profile left Siracusa depressed instead of trying to stay in Siracusa to help Leontuzzo building the new city.
Texas as the supposed main character of the event? 5/10. I want to rank lower because Penguin Logistics other than Sora felt so unneeded. Texas suddenly got amgery because of Rubio's death felt so forced when earlier Lavinia vented her frustration when the former judge turned assasin was dead, Texas only simply offered to grab a bite, not even suggesting it to take Lavinia to safety. At least she's not completely unfeeling when Giovanna was struck.
Ah yes, Giovanna the useless lady who only serve as plot device for Texas' personal story and yuri harem bait, bloating the numbers of the cast. Making Lavinia or Leontuzzo Texas' childhood friend would've made her personal motivation more tied into the story's main theme, and makes the overall story event more coherent.
This event makes me kinda hate Texas for having things handed on silver plate for her development yet still feel lacking.
And also loving Lappland more. Man, if she was lucky enough to have help and friends handed to her on silver plate like what Texas had, she probably wouldn't have been to be so lonely.
Tbh storywise I would rate 5
But the world building lore of Siracusa I would rate 10 😂
This event was particularly hard for me to follow. I ended up just using everything on everything until something did something and the next stage unlocked.
Also Texas is in Italy and so is Lapland for some reason. I went to college in Paris, Texas, so is France also in Italy?
The closest thing to France is Arknights is Gaul Empire, from the name alone you know it.
But sadly that Empire is no more after the war of the four Emperors

Honestly, i hate how they treated Zaaro like a bitch in the end, when he could easily mop the floor with all Siracusan and Penguin Logistic characters.
Also, am i the only one that don't like how Emperor just appeared and steal the spotlight at the end? I think it will be better if only the other Wolf Lords that made an appearance.
