That glider looks like a 100 mile flight, just sitting on launch. Nice!

@@DM-MCMLVI LOL I have the same thought some days. Even in the LZ it looks like I should have come from another state

Very nice work on the video. You make the T3 shine in the air, I like the use of the drag chute for landings.

Glad you enjoyed it. It gets you down quick. you can fly with more airspeed for more control without over shooting

Mike, what kind of drogue chute do you use, or would've recommended? I'm on an intermediate wing yet, but would like to practice landing with the chute.
Also, I've noticed you transition upright kind of early, is this a safety thing? I've a rotor as well and i got used to transition right before the trim and kind of reconsidering that approach..

      Hi,
I have had great luck with the WW drag chute and the Free Flight Enterprize chute (what I currently use. Its a bit larger than the WW drag chute)
When I started using one, I threw it when I was very high and tested turning and the effect speed has on the glide.
Now I keep using it even when I dont need it to stay familiar with it.
I had a Matrix race in my early days. It was tricky sometimes getting upright. I still continue to get upright early as one less thing to think / do when close to the ground. Also, there have been a few times when the glider settled unexpectedly. Having your legs under you can really save the day.
Doesn't looks as cool as the last second get upright maneuver, but for me it works and usually have successful landings. :-)
Let me know if you have any other questions.
