Normally Hila is the anchor to Ethan, keeeping him out of trouble and not making anybody uncomfortable but this episode she was so IN with Ethan, from calling Howie a Loser, not backing down in how funny the prolapse was and then saying to him that hunger was educational... i love her so much hahaha.

Hunger came across as such a nice person and handled Howie’s close minded and offensive comments and remarks really well.
Yea, I was surprised of how mean Howie came of. Like dude, was he trying to be funny? Honestly just came of as bullying.
I feel like the man simply didn't know how to handle the situation, but I do agree to a certain extent.
Hunger was super sweet and Ethan was respectful to him, but I can see why Howie wasn't feeling it. It was invited to be interviewed and then Ethan went off interviewing another dude while he was there, for a good chunk of the ep.
It seemed to me like he wanted to focus the attention back on him. A bad taste attempt, for sure, but it has to be hard to keep the cool when a dude busts out a prolapse out of nowhere lol.
All the love out to Hunger who seems like a really sweet and gentle guy.
They had a man push 6 inches of his large intestine out of his asshole live without giving Howie any warning or asking for his consent. This was after an hour straight of Howie explaining how he regretted making the tiktok and didn't want any more issues with sponsors. I'd say Howie handled it pretty well all things considered. If you want to be mad at anyone, be mad at Ethan for engineering the situation and not checking whether Howie would be comfortable with seeing that.

I really didn’t take Howie as being disrespectful or close-minded. I wish he didn’t interrupt as much, but he just came across as nervous and more ignorant to that world than close minded. He’s unfamiliar to that world and was just making dad jokes imo

hunger honestly such a G putting up with howie's interruptions, especially with anxiety, i could really empathize with it getting on his nerves, im glad he didnt seem to take it too poorly, amazing job doing what he does and being unbothered by others opinions, I'm still taken aback by what he does, but i still appreciate him as a person wholeheartedly, you're amazing hunger!

Ethan put Howie in a really uncomfortable position and its just a coping mechanism and trying to distance himself, Howie verbally said he was uncomfortable multiple times but Ethan just steamrolled him, the guy is older and is from mainstream media and that world is a lot different on what you can say and associate with

Honestly Howie was the best person to have during the Honey sponsor. Not only did he participate during the sponsor he genuinely doesn't know what it was and it gave Ethan and Hila the ability to explain it and get Howie to learn what it did. That and they probably hooked Howie into wanting to use Honey.
Honey might sponsor Howie at some point because of it.

He’s worried about his sponsors and everything…on his podcast that honestly just based on his notoriety, and subsequently the guests he has on, should be doing significantly better than it is. In fact, I would bet on the fact that the reason why it gets any views is cuz of the work his kids put into it…and the craziest part about it all is that literally any asshole can just blink a podcast into existence right now. Even what’s his name…the drunken misogynistic dog molester has one that people watch for some reason.
But yeah, I think the guy is just a boomer with an unfortunate nearly crippling case of OCD, which I can relate to, who for some reason is just reaching master levels at TikTok creation, which probably means he watches a lot of it too. Personally, there’s something about the majority of TikTok creation that is just TOO cringe for me, which is why I rely on RUclips creators to find the gold for me, and just like I’ve heard. Oompaville say more than once “I think we’ve just seen an actual dead person on TikTok right now.” TikTok is a cesspool and I wouldn’t be surprised if Howie made that shit thinking it was totally fine based on other shit he’s seen on there lol. So I don’t necessarily fault him for that…I mean of course not, look at all the joy it’s brought h3 and it’s fans.
Also I did like how by the end of the episode, he was starting to lean into it a bit. Like he really LOVED those trading cards. I’m SO hoping I get the gold one in mine.

The way Ethan conducted himself during the Hunger portion of the interview is incredible. While I personally don't understand it, I appreciate Ethan talking about these extreme topics so much. and he comes off as genuinely respectful. My favorite podcast ever.

What I thought was going to be a silly bit turned out to be a pretty interesting interview with a real wholesome dude. I thought Ethan did a great job and yeah Howie definitely could have reigned it in. The dude isn't some weirdo from the internet, he's a professional whose respected in his field.

He was really disrespectful. For me it felt especially awful when he started bringing hunger's parents into it with the sarcastic "your parents raised you right". Hunger was really nice and all of the jokes howie could think of was shaming him for working in the gay porn industry, they were also repetitive and boring.

Yeah, I get it, it's something extreme and different, and the joke for the first minute is okay... until you realize that Hunger seems like such a sweet guy and is just rolling with the punches.
I also agree that I love seeing my idea of Ethan I like reinforced here, he gets around the fisting thing quickly and then genuinely starts asking Hunger all these questions about his life. I think my favorite part was when Hunger was saying something, and then Howie starts talking over him because he wants to inject his 95th "fisting is disgusting"-joke, and Ethan cuts them off and says "sorry guys, Hunger was saying something, please let him finish". Because I really felt like Howie was treating Hunger a bit like a performance at a freakshow, and Ethan really reeled it in to humanize this interview.
