Which is what I believe makes Ethan good at interviews as well. People love to talk about themselves. So it’s refreshing seeing someone talk about other things and wanna know more about other people.
U have to remember the entire point of a podcast is to have a conversation. Imagine sitting and filming you and a few people you know sitting round talking for an hour or two, and trying to keep it interesting, and also navigating the parts where it gets awkward, the parts where you talk about something and someone starts to get angry, and they have to calm themselves to carry on the conversation, or getting upset, etc. etc. etc. and then having to navigate all the topics that people WILL NOT talk about at all.... So mike just does what a podcast totally needs, and it's for someone to absolute DRIVE the conversation with force, whilst you're going through that. Yes, you can edit it, but if you hit rocky waters in the conversation, and it gets awkward as it so often does, or people become uncomfortable, having someone who takes absolute and full control of the reigns is VITAL...... Mike is so often like the fire, and he pushes things FORWARDS.... people, in conversation will get attached to emotionally and STUCK on a certain thought that arises in the conversation. Someone has to be constantly moving the ball, and re-arranging the pattern and dynamic, in order to make it actually work, as a format, as a piece of entertainment that people will actually want to watch, and brands will actually put their name to. So, people give Mike a hard time for being too overbearing in conversation. You have to remember- it's not just a conversation- it's WORK. and if you don't have people pushing a work minded mentality, it will not happen, it will not continue, people will not watch, and with no audience, you serve no purpose. I don't think as many people understand this and see this, as those that just blindly hate, without actually trying to empathise with the context of the conversation.

You can tell Jeff, Tana, and Mike genuinely have eachother's backs. When one feels awkward or uncomfortable, the others pick up on it and takes the pressure off them and puts it on themselves. So sweet.
Mike is so fucking funny as as person haha. The way he gets “annoyed” at Jeff kind of like two brothers who talk over each other is hilarious. Also the dink doink theme song playing in the back killed me💀
Jeff’s redemption arc is wholesome content. He deserves it. I can’t imagine what he’s been through and that’s even w/o the threat of Dubrick over his career/life. I really liked this ep and it felt like it showed the growth, and learning/unlearning that can (and should happen more often) when ppl are held to account and not cancelled.
Idk the old Tana so maybe I’m wrong for my statement, but since she’s been working close with Jeff I am really starting to like her vibe. I can't imagine he ever expected to watch those videos in front of the people he was criticizing.
I love this Pod but I’ve always felt as if people just never looked into these people themselves and took Ethan’s opinions as their own. So many people in this comment section praising mike but the dude has always been like that and always has been great to listen to. People just need to do their own research and form their own opinions instead of forming them from 3 second audio clips.
Come on Ethan, don’t be a Jerk to Mike! Every time he tries to talk.. Ethan you cut him off , you also come across like you don’t care what he has to say. It’s pretty messed up . Remember you invited him on your show as a guest dude. Ethan you cut off a lot of people . You really need to work on not doing that . We love you 😍 all of you at H3 . This is just something I feel is happening on this episode. Peace & Love ❤️
Lol Jeff absolutely clowning Andrew rate at the end was hilarious. Tate thinks he’s so alpha and can get so many girls yet if him and Jeff were to go to a bar together, Andrew would be sitting in the corner silent while Jeff got all the attention. Lol
I became a H3 phonetic around 6 mounts ago. During this time, this show became one of the largest reasons I was excited to continue existing. I’m only just seeing this episode now and man, I give Ethan a hell of a lot of credit. If Ethan and/or hila see this comment, I hope you know how reassuring it is as a young woman to see a man take responsibility and correct incorrect statements or comments; but seemingly wholeheartedly and sincerely apologize for it, has largely contributed to my belief that good men exist. Seeing Ethan openly showing genuine remorse and acknowledging for what he has said and allowing open dialogue about it, on his own show, is pretty cool. Thank you H3. For the laughter, the excitement, the community, and a reason to fight on.
I’m not gonna lie I genuinely think this is one of the best H3 Podcast episodes ever. Everyone was so respectful and funny and the chemistry was really off the charts. I’d love to see this crew together again more than just this once.

Ethan needs way more props for bringing in 3 people he's absolutely trashed in the past, looked back on it with them and had to face them and what they had to say, and then apologized for it all. This episode felt wholesome... I would like Mike to bring Logan to the podcast. I want to see that. I think meeting people in real life is much better than just assuming their character online. I'm sure you can tell a lot about a person just online, but when people are willing to squash the beef, you can tell there is more to a person than just the online drama, BUT then again, one can say it's all about the views... so WHO KNOWS... I like to believe it is still good in people, and these people said and perhaps did questionable things... you can tell they are just trying to navigate life in an unconventional way.
“I don’t think you understand I was flung off a crane, had my brain bashed in and was exiled by a group that was all my friends” the timing and delivery of this was hilarious lol
This changed my view of Mike. I didn’t know much about him but doubt I would’ve given him much of a chance.
@@jamesjackson5020 I’m not hating on you mike it’s just that when you interrupt someone like tana who has hardly spoken at all that’s not being a great podcaster imo

The chemistry of all 4 of them was insane. While I would love to see just one come back, the golden ticket would be for all 4 of them. Surprisingly Mikes chemistry was so good with Ethan, I think it’s because he can take jokes
Mike being so set on discussing hostess snacks is killing me
I really relate to ethans thoughts on his toxic friendship w trisha. I’ve been in those type of bff ships where you bring out the toxic in each other but it all just feels like chaotic good in the moment
It truly fascinates me that anyone wants to spend time with her
They were like Saul Goodman and Kim Wexler
@@Diprobase Lmao sad !
@@sejtbrugernavn I felt like he continued to only do it because of Moses
I feel like Trish actually brought out a lot of sensitivity and empathy from Ethan, it wasn't all bad
Tana’s entire face and mood during this is just a vibe 🤣😭
You can tell she’s soooooo irritated and wants nothing to do with Ethan lolol
I can definitely see a Friendship with Ethan & Mike .. they have that chemistry 🤣
Fr I want a podcast of them alone !!!!
Sooo true
