The whole experience is just epic. That barn, with those vehicles. Both in the same place, covered in dust. You guys got in there, and that's just amazing. So glad you got to take us all along with you.
What a great video of a great car. My Brother bought a '67 GTA in 1967. 390 4bbl hi performance. His had the automatic with 3:25 gears. So fast it was scary. Those were the two best years for the Mustang. Thanks, Kent.
Love seening you bond with your son like this.I remember when my father would take me for drives.I hope to do the same with my kids and pass on my love for machines and all things mechanical to them
Hope you guys are still making content! Absolutely love you and your son working on these old dogs and bringing them back from the brink. Much love from Scotland 👍🏻
Kent the frist time I saw your posting was when you and your son and frend picked this car up I've been a fan of your channel ever since thank you for the mustang update looking for of your posting Joe from Canada 🇨🇦
Man!!!! THAT was a kick! What a cool Mustang...390's are badazz enough, but 428's are a whole nuther ball game! Loved the BIG SMILE on Jack's face! Fun video, Kent! Merry Christmas!!!
A pretty high water mark car for the 67-68 Mustang's,S ,390, Fastback,Acupolco blue, and the cou de gra? A 4 SPEED 👍👍,i have owned my 67 Fastback 289 4 SPEED since I was 13, I am 51 now, hope Chris has fun with his 68, I love mine, and it is a member of the family 👍
I was noticing in the beginning video in your garage the back end paint was dull. My ex husband, a body man, would get frustrated with me because I could find the tiniest flaw. We have a 66 Hertz Shelby with a 289 Paxton supercharger. Stock and racing body parts, all for $2500
Kent, what a great looking car! I was in high school when that car came out. Brings back great memories of the muscle car days. Great video, and thanks for sharing. What you have showed, so far, makes me think that an older person must have owned that car....it's in great shape!
The build sheet for that car should be located rolled up and taped on top of the wiring harness above the steering column, behind the dash. We found one in that location in my friends "survivor" '68 Mustang. Have you got a Marti Report for it? Many thanks for these videos, awesome content.
Hey Kent, there is a way to tell on an FE big block if it is a 390 or 428. at least you can measure the stroke fairly accurately. becuase the angle and location of the spark plug hole you can very carefully get a piston a bottom dead center and put a wood rod/dowel down onto the top of the piston. mark the stick. turn engine by hand carefully until that piston is at top dead center. re-mark stick(you don'r have to leave the stick in place. a 390 will be 3.78 or roughly 3-3/4 inches in stroke. a 428 is 3.98" or a 4" stroke. bore is different also but this will give you an indication
In 1984 my x had ( still has) a 1969 cobra fast back mustang the manager of the bank we banked at came to our house made him an offer a good offer my x said no, the bank manager pulled out his check book and said name your price, my x told him the car was not for sale, the mustang has 2 motors 1 was for racing, from what I have been told he let it go to trash
@@SpeedBumpGarage agreed. Most of the cars in Florida I can afford is ready for the crusher. That 1500 dollar gem is out there somewhere. I've found 2 78 Thunderbirds but the oeners won't budge on the prices.
Those car's are built Ford tough. Drive it like you stole it. That's what I call it. Kent you weren't mean to it at all. That was respectful. I would like to see Jack drive it with no one watching. I know he would have fun. When people disrespect cars is when they smoke in them and allow kids to put there finger prints all over the windows.
You're the perfect person to have sons and pass down your love for fixing up old gems. Love the peel outs.
Thanks Jackie

It was an awesome experience for sure
Great looking car. Love the color. It's a great classic car.
Thanks!
My dream car when I came home from Vietnam in 72, a friend of mine bought an identical GT loved it could never find one. He's a lucky man!!
I see them around but definitely cant afford one!

They are great looking cars!
Thanks for taking us for a ride. Been wondering what happen to it. Beautiful car. Have a bless evening. Love you guys.
Thanks for watching!

The smile on Jack's face made my day...😊

So cool. Glad you can share these moments with Jack.
It was one I am definitely glad Jack came along on!
You must have a guardian angel on your shoulder. These barn finds are what dreams are made of. Lucky family.
I wish I would have found it first!
Thanks for the update, was wondering what happened to it. Looks like Y'all enjoyed the Sunday drive in the beautiful mustang. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
Thanks 👍

Thanks Joe!
A friend of mine had a mustang with the 390, he had to raise the engine to change the spark plugs, fast car
Nice (Bullit) Mustang if it does have the 390 in it. Fun cars. I was a MOPAR man. 69 Hemi Roadrunner, 4spd. Wish I still had that beast. Nice car.
It’s a Blue Bullet!
Man I’ve been waiting for this follow up since the first video!! It cleaned up nice. Very special car.
Thanks! Sorry it took so long!
Nice mustang. Sorry it is not yours. I would.love to have the blue Mach 1..dream car or a 69 chevelle..great cars..good to see you and Jack..take care
A 69 Chevelle would be amazing! Thanks for watching
Man!!!! THAT was a kick! What a cool Mustang...390's are badazz enough, but 428's are a whole nuther ball game! Loved the BIG SMILE on Jack's face! Fun video, Kent! Merry Christmas!!!
Thanks Dr. Lee! That car is an absolute blast! Merry Christmas to your family as well.
Wow..that's unbelievable. What an awsome car. You know they made some pretty cool models back in the 60's. I'm a 1961 model myself🤣🤣👍
Woohoo how fun Jack..what a ride!!! Also it's my favorite color❤
Couldn't agree more!
This looks like my first car. Same color, the same motor, etc. Great job finding it.
That is an amazing first car!
That's funny it's just like my first car too 68 gt fastback presidential blue
Awesome car. Rare and very desirable.

During that drive when he got down on it I know his son was enjoying that by his smile
Another awesome video man. Keep up the good work. I have many 67-79 ford trucks and would love to find other finds like you get. Lucky dog you 😅
This guy always gets the cool finds
I wish I was lucky enough to have found this one!

Lol that’s a good deal!
Love that car
Me too!
Mustang is fast for old car❤
What a car! Pretty much my dream Mustang!
Probably mine too!
This was one of the greatest designs ever!
I agree!
yes !!! that's the most awsome stanger 🇺🇸
Wow very nice ride
Thanks!

It has been in that barn since the early 80s!
What about that Crown Victoria next to it in the barn? That looked sweet!
He liked it a lot more than the Mustang!
Awesome find
my pops has almost exactly the same whip
That's Awesome!
Bet your boy sure got a kick out of the ride. I know I would.
He really loves that car!
What an awesome car
Thanks!
Sweet!
So cool!
Thanks
Nice vehicle, that is what it's designed to do. Jack seemed to really enjoy the burnouts. What is the status with Jack's Jeep pickup?
We haven’t went back out to work on it yet! Deer season has taken priority over the Jeep lol
I love mustang my dream car ❤

Can’t you find a build sheet for the Mustang? That would show engine in it.
It shows a 390 from the factory but I’m not sure it is still original
Nice car I messaged you on the last video I've got one pretty much just like it. Awesome car guys nice video
Thanks Steven
Dream ride for sure.
Need to get a Marti report for it.
Hey Guy's
That's 100% my all time favorite car 💖
That 56 Crown Victoria is REALLY SWEET.
nice ride
you and stewie have found the holy grail
It was a pretty amazing find! thanks for watching
Another great video Kent. Your editing skills are awesome. I also noticed you knocking on the door of 10000 subs. So proud for ya. 💙
Thanks Sandy! So close to 10k!

Thanks Jeff! I’m not sure that is possible as tight as that engine fits but I will look.
lol. enjoyed this. i bet Kent put grey hairs on parents when he was younger. lol
Lol you could probably say that
Should get that 55 ford
We tried!
Nice video
You should convince Chris (Stewie) to make his own channel so he can document his projects and his own updates on this car
Chris has so much cool stuff that he would have content for years!
@@SpeedBumpGarage now i would love to see that!
Looking forward to when Jack can drive..
Nice update Kent! #fordguy
🤷🏻♂️
Bro you just blew Stewy’s car up! Sold
Lol I almost accidentally turned this into a build series
May have been better for you in the end! See if it’ll hold 8 grand on the broken tach
Damnn what a car man
In 1984 my x had ( still has) a 1969 cobra fast back mustang the manager of the bank we banked at came to our house made him an offer a good offer my x said no, the bank manager pulled out his check book and said name your price, my x told him the car was not for sale, the mustang has 2 motors 1 was for racing, from what I have been told he let it go to trash
They are really neat cars!
Car is great, but shouldn't have taken the risk without seat belt at high speed
They had lap belts, but I def would have unclipped the shoulder belts from the ceiling and used those too. Those burn outs were awesome!
Some videos shows the piston heights to tell the engine size
Ive been looking for years and still haven't found anything
I have found several but they are expensive!
@@SpeedBumpGarage agreed. Most of the cars in Florida I can afford is ready for the crusher. That 1500 dollar gem is out there somewhere. I've found 2 78 Thunderbirds but the oeners won't budge on the prices.

I would sell my younger brother to get my hands on a 68 GT Fastback! It's okay. My brother has a few miles on him too, so it would be a fair swap. 😁😂
Now awaits Steve McQueen’s arrival…
its a blue bullet!
Hello man! You said it’s not a roomy, but may I ask you what’s your height good man?
Just for better understanding.
For how much could I buy that car ?
Can I have it, I have nothing to offer but my drooling mouth.....
I wish it was mine to give away!
I want to buy the hot wplease, please.❤😊
I need to be kicked over and over again, my first car was a 69 Mach 1 which i sold for nothing along time ago.
