Did you forget Visions of Mana? I sure hope Visions of Mana is on Switch 2...
I'd be especially hyped for anything Monolith related (New IP, Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster, remakes/ports of Xenosaga trilogy, Xenogears remake/port, new Xenoblade game, new Xeno game period)
I'm always excited for a new Fire Emblem game and a remake of FE4 just might come sooner rather than later.
Golden Sun 4 would be super hype
Octopath Traveler 3 might get one eventually, I even have written a bunch of hypotheticals for that the new lineup of 8 characters would be.
And yes, Dragon Quest III HD2D is long over due, even if it now may be 4K2D now.
Dragon Quest XII, absolutely for that one.
I could see Square do another 2DHD remake of one of their older titles, I would like Chrono Trigger given that treatment.

Soul Hackers 2 wasn't a bad game though I still think it needed more development time and money. I do think Ringo deserved better.

I wanted nothing more than Ys 1 for Switch. Didn't get it. I'd love to see it on Switch 2. I prob won't spend $400 on a system, but Ys 1 would push me over the edge.
I am sure the rumored/"leaked" SMT 5 "Complete Edition" port will also be on the Switch 2...in fact I think the reason the game hasn't been announced(especially during the SMT 30th anniversary) is because Nintendo has some deal to be the first to announce it and are waiting for the Switch 2 announcement.....or the project is in development hell or even got cancelled.

Legends is def my favorite pokemon game and I liked the diamond remake! Everything else on switch was whatever as far as pokemon lol

That’s all you really need so not that whatever
It doesn't have to be Switch 2, or it could be both, but all I want is a FF Tactics Remake that plays similar to Valkyria Chronicles. I think with that same cell shaded style if they honor FF Tactics Art, it would be SO amazing!!!

AC is my favorite combat system ever better that the DVC series and Bayoneta series. Thst combat system is not easy but man once you get it is just the best. If you like easy hack and slash this is not for you but if like to digg in into the combat this is it, AC2 would be amazing
I have a physical copy of AC, but I've been fighting the urge to dive in in the hope that they will do a 60FPS patch for the Switch successor. I hope I don't end up waiting all this time for nothing 😂

I can't see FF14 coming to switch 2 and that's mostly because when the Endwalker expansion releases, the specs for PC gamers is going to increase as they are essentially upscailing the visuals and performance of the game itself.

It’s crazy because evening though I have my Rog Ally and ps5, I still pick up my switch most of all! It will go down as my fave console ever, love it so much 😢❤.

4:05 the next paper Mario game is probably too far in development so if there are any changes in the formula we would probably have to wait to see any results
If the Nintendo Switch 2 has a release of Soul Hackers 2, then I'll buy the game for a third time. I know the people who really love that game are small in number, but I am among them. 😆With Square Enix doing a remake of Bravely Default, I wish Atlus would do something similar for SMT IV and SMT IV: Apocalypse. While I love all of the 3DS SMT games, I also know that it would be expensive to remake all of them so it won't likely happen, but at least these two should be brought to other consoles in some way so they aren't trapped on a discontinued system. Atlus said they were intending to put a bigger emphasis on mainline SMT after the success of SMT V and this is a way they could do it. I also hope that Atlus will finally bring the early SMT games to the West on consoles and PC in the form of a collection. With games from the Tales of series getting ports in recent years, I also hope Tales of Berseria comes to a Nintendo console in the future and I would buy it again if it did because it's my favorite in that series.
As for predictions for not just JRPGs but RPGs in general, I think Bethesda with release Skyrim on the next Nintendo console so they can continue to make money off of the Elder Scrolls series without having to make The Elder Scrolls 6. 😆Lies of P will also likely be ported because it is a successful and highly-regarded game that people who only have a Switch missed out on so putting it on a Nintendo console that can run the game well makes sense. I also predict that the unnamed SMT game that Atlus announced being in the works will be something very good but also not what fans have been asking for the most.
I'm hoping for Monster Hunter Stories 3!

I want Xenoblade chronicles X and like another commenter said some more HD2D remakes, if that is all I get I’d be happy. Though, I wouldn’t mind the Yakuza/Like a Dragon games being ported to the switch 2
So keen for that new Monolith Soft game, whether it's Xenoblade 4, or their supposed new IP!
FFXV would be a port I wouldn't miss
Elden Ring
At the end of last year, team asano supposedly teased a new bravely title. They try to release a game every year, so I can see a new game now and possibly a remake for bd when switch 2 does come out (if there’s a good way to port the second screen in). Third octopath will probably release alongside switch 2 if possible. DQ3R supposedly just has some playtesting left, so it may come this year, but DQ12 is def gonna be switch 2.
I predict fe4 will be at the next direct in february. IS released two new fe games and a remake on 3ds, so I think it’ll keep this trend for current switch and reset on switch 2 (might see 4 or 5 fe games on switch 2 if things go smoothly).
