    - O God suffers from really not good mixing. The high ends of this album makes it for my ears absolutely bad, like i cannot listen to most of the songs cause they have really weird crackling noises. I love raw music and raw production but not when it hurts my ears. For some strange reason, my favorite song "Absentimental" from it, sounds actually great. Like it does not have that annoying edge, the bass and drums are fat. Matt Putman once told me (brother from Cory and their co-producer) that O God and Meridional should be remastered and they were thinking about it a lot. When even the producer says it, it means that i am the only one who hears the off mixing. Strangely, their demo "Astronomiconary" has way better mixing than Predendeavor which is the full version of the song.
I also hate how heavily distorted are Corys vocals. I am used with distortion, but holly shit it takes away so much from the intensity. Redeemer has Cory on full range but some parts are distorted, which is a perfect middle ground.
    - I prefer Meridional over Anti Mother to be honest, Meridional sounds a lot like a prototype of Polar Similar and onward. But it suffers from the mixing as well. Like too digital to my ears.
    - I would also say that Cemetery Like A Stage is the strongest Redeemer song, once you will understand the meaning of it. The meaning elevates the song way beyond anything else on that album.

I think I remember seeing your profile pic and deeply insightful comments on a handful of NJ videos a while back....so to see you come around to my channel and take the time to give me this feedback means a lot. Especially since feedback is a huge part of NJ's (and The Chariot lol) raw sound. O God really would benefit from a re-release let alone another listen from me just because enough time has passed. These days Redeemer and Deathrattle are still duking it out as my favorite from them, although Redeemer will always have a special place since it was my intro to them at an impactful time.

@@jaydennis1999 Redeemer has absolutely mind blowing sound engineering. Props to you mentioning Ross but we should praise Ryan Boesch, who was the sound engineer of Redeemer and Anti Mother. He is the reason why Redeemer has such pro mixing and "panning". Ryan with the panning influenced the entire band and they are now using it in every other NJ album.
Ryan Boesch also helped Whores. to stand up more with their music. Check out their music, phenomenal stuff.
I am with you, i think Redeemer with Death Rattle are the most realized NJ albums. With that in mind, Polar and Wrongdoers are not that far behind.
