Cool video - I have been living and studying in both cities and countries for years and I fully agree that Jakarta and Manila are absolutely underrated. From my personal point of view a combination of both places would be paradise for foreigners to live. As you mentioned in the video, life is easy in the Philippines because literally everybody speaks English and this makes it easy to deal with government agencies. But if you had time to learn Bahasa than Indonesia is the place where foreigners will appreciate its unique lifestyle and diversity of culture.
Been living in Manila for more than 6 years now (European, 33 years old). It's definitely way underrated, as you have explained. Not as many tourist places as compared to Bangkok, but it's nice simply experiencing a huge, emerging capital city and the lifestyle. Definitely stay in BGC or Makati before visiting the islands.
Manila they never leave you alone when you walk they try to sell you thing you never enjoy yourself also sad to see many poor children in the streets begging money ,food not only Manila the whole Philippine country after while you will get tired want get out from that country
when we were travelling Pacific Southeast Asia I expected that Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, but I got shocked when I went in Ayala Ave. and BGC and Jakarta lmao their skyscrapers is massive, not shocked in Jakarta because they're like huge country with rich GDP just shocked to my Mom's hometown metro manila skyline is massive and great too, I love how goverment gives slum poor people condos close in QC if I am not mistaken, what I loved in Jakarta is Food and Transportation, and Manila is Skydeck bar and BGC nightlife, both underrated and people in philippines and indonesians are similar crazy and funny people, love the trip! >Filipino-Mexican Enjoyer!
I've been to indonesia once, and people are friendly like here in the Philippines.. aside from the language, it feels like phillippines and indonesia have more similarities .. 😍 hope i can visit indonesia again soon
In my personal opinion, Bangkok still ranks well as an interesting city to visit, because this city has a lot of interesting culture, but not for Jakarta, Jakarta is a business city, not a tourism city, but in my experience, Jakarta looks more modern than bangkok city. the city of jakarta has good infrastructure
@Dany #gotaworldtosee yes bro I aggre with you, i recommended if you want stay long in Indonesian, you must choose bali, bali has good quality of life and many culture also spot tourism in Indonesian, and famous in the world but jakarta not famoust 😂👍
Thailand is too centralized to Bangkok. Bangkok is both center of business and tourism. Indonesia is much more diversified. Indonesian economy still grows 3.5 percent in Q3 2021, while Thailand economy contracts 0.3 percent in the same period. So while Bali is stagnating, Jakarta and the rest of Indonesia is recovering.
Both are underated for sure. Having lived in Manila for 6yrs....and now 3yrs in Jakarta...lots of hidden gems, it's difficult to say which is best, currently sitting in Bogor where the Jakartians get a way, love it.
Jakarta is a business city... a bit for tourist purposes. but jakarta is a comfortable city for entrepreneurs & workers... but Indonesia has many tours in all regions compared to other countries.... if it's Bangkok.. KL.. yes they are tourist cities...
@ig zaini cacaato jakarta udah punya lumayan banyak tempat buat turis kunjungi contoh monas, gbk senayan, scbd, mega kuningan,TMII,PIK,Ancol dan Dufan,Ragunan ZOO, kota tua, museum gajah/m blok dll
Also important to note, referring Indonesia as the largest Muslim country is incorect. The term is more appropriate for countries that are ideologically or administratively governed based on Islamic ideology or law, such as Malaysia or Brunei. The appropriate term for Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim populations in the world.
Both Jakarta and Manila are underated! Unlike Bangkok, these Two Mega cities don't have famous tourism spots. For me, Jakarta is really worth to be on traveling list, the traffic and safety index are much better compare to other SEA Cities except Singapore and the public transportation is great, Its the winter of global sustainable transport award last year
I've been to Manila many times over the years so I've seen a lot of the changes. Seems like they have a new building or mega mall every time I visit. We totally enjoyed visiting Bali so I would love to be able to visit Jakarta and the island of Java next.
Forget the megamalls. Go to a place like BGC or Makati. You see people walking around outside enjoying the city. Tons of outdoor dining and green spaces. Meanwhile, if you go to the CBD areas in Jakarta like SCBD or MK, almost everyone is walking around inside the malls.
We also visited Indonesia before covid 19 starts I'm a Filipino but isn't weird that I enjoyed more our vacation in Indonesia than my own country Philippines?🤦♀️
I've been to both cities and love them both. They're similar in many ways but their differences make them each worth experiencing. While all signs are in English and most speak English in Manila, I didn't have any real problems communicating in Jakarta. I think it could be more of a challenge in the outlying, non-tourist rural areas though. Either way, both fun cities to experience.
Indonesia is vast which has many islands, Indonesia has the islands of Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua and other small islands, Indonesia is not only the islands of Java and Bali.
@@hardianzen1605 This video is about jakarta & Manila, why you explained something that out of context? Di Filipina juga ga cuma Manila doang, pulaunya juga banyak! orang2 gagal paham
I have been in these 2 cities. Jakarta and Manila. Jakarta is so much better in term of traffic. You could be trapped in hours on street while in Manila, the traffic so bad.
if you visit jakarta, go for public transportation instead. you can get wherever you want by taking the public transportation as it is integrated, everywhere and pretty easy to access. getting around jakarta is super easy and convenient.
Which one is better ? Simple! It depends on why you're visiting it in the first place 😊. Jakarta : BUSINESS ORIENTED CITY. Thus it's all about money, efficiency, trade & commerce and not so much about tourism. Manila : SERVICE ORIENTED CITY. Thus it's all about service and people there speak fluent English.
Jakarta has a better and organized transportation system than Manila, me as a Filipino saying it. Metro Manila's transport system is still very chaotic and not very commuter-centric. Philippines authorities should really do something about it, no excuses.
@@aryaszamadha5245 wake up to reality littleman😂there's a reason why you Indonesians wanted Filipinos attention and wanted to be Filipinos. I hate of being biased about these 2 cities...but you are absolutely right...they both have their own charm..im indonesian live in jakarta...but i love to visit manila again to see the differences...still city again but different vibe..love manila...KL....bangkok...etc
Jakarta Indonesia the people so humble, they don’t bother you , you can enjoy yourself also you would love their food , their culture , the city look unique beauty

I'm filipino, and I think many people love jakarta indonesia than manila philippines I saw in comments. Congrats indonesia nice cities! but I love my country too philippines
Im a filipino and living in Jakarta for 10 yrs. traffic in Jakarta is insane. I still like Manila (BGC and Makati are) than Jakarta. Manila has more skyscrapers now than Jakarta.
@Indrawadi Vivo neo central is my home so i should know. Jakarta is dear to me since im still living here but I personally prefer Manila over Jakarta. But id say Jakarta over Bangkok.
yesterday I visited SCBD Jakarta my gosh was surprised the buildings are very modern and look expensive but unfortunately the streets of SCBD are very quiet even though everything looks very luxurious but when I went to the ASTHA District I was surprised that it was so crowded that I was confused to say the people there were cool especially their style
Jakarta used to be quiet only during eid since people go to their hometown for long holiday. Now, apart from Eid, if Jakarta is quiet, it means covid cases is on the rise. 😆
Im a Filipino, and if asked if which has better walkable sidewalks and Public Transport? Id say, Jakarta. See, Jakarta experienced major transformation there years ago since Widodo became the Governor there and up to this present. Their BRT alone is a testament of how things went good to Jakarta. Here in Manila, myghad, by the time Jakarta experienced major changes, Manila is still struggling on how to keep sidewalks free from litter, even the President called out Manila Mayor somewhere in 2017 or '18 and told him that Manila is dis-organized and rotting. Like it was only in 2019 when major changes miraculously spread across Manila. Many things are being introduced, changed, sacked, and constructed. The improvements that commenced in 2019 will be seen maybe 3-5 years from now. And its a sure guarantee that the world will see a new and improved Manila
Give it a decade. Manila's public transport is growing and they're building 2 new airports. It will pass any development Jakarta is currently undertaking.

Sustainable transportation is great and all, but what about the most basic need like water? Why does no one talk about Jakarta’s abysmal water infrastructure. You’re the capital city of a relatively wealthy country (compared to the Philippines) but less than 50% of the population even has piped water. The rest of the population has to drill groundwater, which is making the city sink faster than any other city on the planet. Even some skyscrapers in Jakarta drill for groundwater. It’s a shame. You build skyscrapers on sinking land instead of building water pipes that people actually need. Messed up priorities. Manila is poorer, but still, around 90% has piped water. Most people stopped drilling groundwater decades ago.
@@minim6981 Cities like Jakarta, Sao Paulo, Beijing, Istanbul, Moscow, London are in a water crisis...but how can they progress? and how many natural resources like Manila still have many Thirsty, Poor and hungry people?
Hi Dany, I'm a Jakarta citizen and I've seen that many tourists that visited Jakarta skip on visiting TMII (taman mini Indonesia indah/ Beautiful miniature park of Indonesia). It's a huge place with all of Indonesian provinces architecture and museum, they also have 3d cinema, Waterboom, bird park, etc. They also sell delicious cuisines from these provinces and try the traditional clothes. The government currently renovating it. I hope you can give it a chance when you visit Jakarta again, it's a place deeply loved by people from all generations in Indonesia.
First of, I absolutely agree that both places are underrated travel destination. Both are culturally rich with friendly and helpful city dwellers, rich historical footprints, and the mecca of street foods. Both are an absolute must to visit and explore. However, in terms of comparing points of observation in this vlog, especially matters that are in actual a product of city administration such as transportation and urban planning - not to mention the different nature of city and development administration between Indonesia and the Philippines, comparing Jakarta with Metro Manila in such way is the same as comparing apple to oranges. For Indonesia, the area being observed and made as comparison reference focused on Central and South Jakarta (CBD areas), which in terms of the state of urbanization and city planning is more comparable to Makati and BGC (rather than the entire Metro Manila). Whilst for the Philippines, the areas shown and mentioned is Metro Manila or NCR (National Capitol Region) of which the City of Manila (where Intramuros is located), Makati, and Taguig (where BGC is located) are part of, thus would have been more comparable to Metro-Jakarta or Jabodetabek - a portmanteau for Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, the cities made up Metro-Jakarta. To give some context for those who are not too familiar with the two places being compared, Jakarta is a (special capital) city with five municipalities and one regency, whilst Metro-Manila is a National Capitol Region made up of 16 (administratively) independent cities and one municipality. This difference matters significantly within the context of some of the observation points, i.e. the state of transportation and urban planning, which has made this a rather disproportionate comparison and did injustice to both places in my opinion. Both places have their own charms and worth to visit and explore, since we are talking in the context of travel destination. For example: if you drive from Central Jakarta to South Jakarta, especially if you only go through the major throroughfares, i.e. Thamrin - Sudirman, respectively, and its vicinity, it will give you an impression that Jakarta is much better than Metro Manila (which in actual is incomparable to begin with). However if you drive cross city line, for example from SCBD in Jakarta to Bekasi, or from SCBD in Jakarta to BSD in Tangerang you will get the similar view and impression of the state of urban planning and socio-economic disparity that you will get if you drive from BGC (which is in Taguig city) to, say, UP Diliman in QC (Quezon City). This point to point comparison is comparable in terms of urbanization disparity, and of distance and driving time; assuming traffics is in normal conditions. Both Jakarta and Metro-Jakarta, and Metro-Manila are notorius for their traffic congestions, despite their inter-cities highways and tollways Another example, BGC (Bonifacio Global City) is a Financial Centre within the city of Taguig. If we want to make a more contextually appropriate comparison, Taguig vs Jakarta would be more comparable since both cities are administratively comparable which will reflect in its infrastructure and development state comparability. Within this context, hands down Jakarta wins in terms of public transportation compared to Taguig. In terms of quality of inner city life, although Jakarta's CBD is flashier in design, in terms of liveability, urban planning, its human centric design and safety, hands down BGC wins against CBD. Surrounding areas outside BGC in Taguig and CBD in Jakarta is a toss up. Some better, some less in both cities. Hope this helps to give some perspective, and will not be perceived as a knock to anyone, especially the vlog owner. Apologies if it is.
Both Jakarta and Metro Manila cover more than 600 km2. With 600 plus km2 Jakarta consists of 5 administration cities. Meanwhile Metro Manila with 600 plus km2 consists of 16 cities. Its apple to apple in size. Which part isn't incomparable?
The national museum in Jakarta is really nice, worth checking out, because most people don't realize how diverse Indonesia culturally is. The food is also amazing despite the somewhat bad reputation, you can find food from all over the country in Jakarta if you know where to look; however, there are so many amazing islands people don't know about. In my opinion, Indonesia shines when it comes to culture, wildlife and nature (beaches in particular), but look further than Bali.
@Indrawadi Vivo Yes, I know, I spent around 3 months in Maluku for example, tourist infrastructure is quite poor, but it is still possible to go around and organize a trip (can't be organized online, though). I enjoy exploring lesser known places and Indonesia is perfect for that!
Wonder what planet thinks Indonesian food has a bad rep? 🤷 I love taking my family to a balinese restaurant every other month or for special occasions.
@@happyface96 My point is, most people don't know much about Indonesian cuisine. Indonesia is not only Bali and even when it comes to Bali, most people know about babi guling and that's about it. Indonesian cuisine (even as a whole) is not as sophisticated as other cuisines in SEA (thai, Vietnamese, malay), but different regions have regional dishes and many of them are nice. Most people only visit Bali, though, and stick to stuff they find there (like nasi goreng).
Jakarta is little bit ahead of Manila, but visiting Manila is a pleasure, their people are friendly and helpful, I didn't feel being in abroad while traveled to there...
It's awesome Dan you made this Jakarta vs Manila video, you got it all right as I used to live in Jakarta for over three years and visited Manila for less than a week. wait jakarta is underestimated ... but when compared to bangkok jakarta has the advantages of integrated transportation, modern skyscrapers and compared to bangkok many skyscrapers are aging bangkok has the advantage of a city full of tourists compared to Jakarta which is just a business city
As a person living in Jakarta, I can say Bangkok has more better public transportation in terms of connection and clarity on routes and schedule. Though indeed most of the buses in Bangkok are like old buses and the taxi there is so bad in terms of cheating on price.

FUN FACT: Manila hosts the OLDEST Chinatown in the entire world - the Binondo district. It's just a stone's throw away from the historic Intramuros district (Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral, the UNESCO world heritage site San Agustin Church, National Museum, Rizal Park etc). Manila is also a gaming and casino powerhouse with lots of hotels & casinos (such as Okada Manila, City of Dreams, & Solaire to name a few) in the Mall of Asia/Entertainment City complex in Bay Area, Pasay City. And of course, you have the upscale and ultra modern districts of Makati CBD, Bonifacio Global City (BGC) as well as Ortigas Center. You may add the emerging CBDs such as Eastwood, Araneta City, North Edsa, Alabang, Greenhills, East Ortigas, Parklinks, Arcovia, Bridgetown, and many more!!!
sorry about the "casino" gambling game in Indonesia is forbidden because it has to do with religious orders, whether Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist so all religious teachings in our country forbid it for the gambling game, it violates the legal norms of the state and religion and actually in the State of Indonesia there is a paradise for HALAL culinary tourism, there are no alcoholic drinks, even if there are, it's only exist in nightclubs, and are not sold in supermarkets, restaurants, and other public places so they are not sold freely
Thank you for explain Indonesia in the beautiful way, I love ur video, this country had a rich of cultures, and we have a symbol "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" that mean "Unity in Diversity" in bahasa "Walaupun berbeda tetap Satu jua" yes, we had different cultures, languages, religion in one country but still can stay united as one and respect differences ❤️
Manila will soon have its first ever subway, actually two subways, one is Makati subway and one being built by the government the Metro Manila Subway. A new Sky Way segment has been recently built. EDSA traffic has improved.
Manila is brewing something for the tourist soon when the pandemic ends. (New Trains, Subway Metro Train, Bus Rapid System, more and more new station and interconnected national railway, Big big airport, new districts and more) please go back soon. Philippines cant wait to welcome everyone again
You were missing one city that is in my opinion has a similar vibe with Jakarta and Manila is Bangkok. The weather, the people. And i love those cities as well.
I read a lot of comments who commend Manila, I lived in Manila but i traveled to Jakarta 7 times as our company expand their businesses in South East Asia. When it comes to high rise infrastructure I can definitely say Manila stand on it but what I loved in Jakarta is that they only have one Bus transit (transjakarta) operate by Indonesian government which makes them more organized. The good thing in Manila is that most people can speak and understand English which all foreigners find easily to communicate the locals.
Kalo mau transportasi yg bagus, modern dan terintegrasi tentu Jakarta pilihannya, Karena Jakarta sudah ada bus transjakarta yg punya jalur terpanjang di Asia di tambah MRT 🙂
One thing you should know that Jakarta is NOT tourism city like Bangkok/Singapore/KL If you compare Jakarta vs Manila, I think Jakarta more developed. But both cities are interesting
Jakarta for the win! Nicer people, better street food, more efficient public transportation, and on top of that it’s waaay safer and cheaper than Manila. 🇻🇳❤️🇮🇩
What a friendly and objective comparison! Both capital keep developing, for me Jakarta win the public transpo and infrastructure between these two. Manila is known for the no language barrier for english and people love it. You should put the cuisine as the comparison but it is gonna be back to each taste preference. Not talk about hygienity both cities have proper meal to eat. Jakarta as Indonesia capital offers food that known for the various spices and I confident it is the best in region LoL I might suggest to present the numeric data to compare the cities, but the best way to compare is just come and visit the places!
Great to see both cities from different perspectives of foreign visitors. And yes Jakarta is definitely not a touristic place but one thing I have to admire is the comprehensive and robust public transport facility that is still growing. We have MRT, LRT, KRL Commuter Line, BRT. I would say there are few problems about Jakarta: Insufficient public transport Providing Quality housings for low income Open green spaces Huge homework for the governors... Manila pretty much the same problem but they desperately need good Public Transport like Jakarta
Well 5 million foreign tourist went to Jakarta for 2019 thou. Honestly I dont want Jakarta to be overtouristic place like Bangkok. No offense but we all know Bangkok is overtourist because of sex tourism
Let's get real: the things going for Bangkok are the "wats," or Buddhist temples, and the food that tourists go agog about. If Manila wants to attract more tourists it must seriously make its jeepneys eco - friendly (and phase out the smoke - belching ones), improve on its trains, and push Filipino cuisine internationally (Filipino restauranteurs' responsibility, here) so tourists would demand it in Manila.
@@denniscabubas1641 i Respect your opinion, but as a Filipino it is not right to State something negative or backlash specially when you're referring to majority. Remember, jeepneys have long long history and I understand if you dont know it, well maybe you're capable of researching about it, then it would be nice. Jeepneys signify our history and if you dont like our culture it is much better to shut up. JEEPNEYS ARE NOT JUST A VEHICLE OR TRANSPORTATION IT IS A TREASURE OF FILIPINO'S THAT NO BODY ELSE HAVE.
@@kenlandok5459 time to phase out the jeepneys, it's causing more serious health problems than making the filipino proud about it. To say it's hard to let go of the jeepneys because of it's history behind it is the same as saying that we shouldn't have replaced the horses as the means of transportation, horses have far long history of transportation than the jeepneys..
I am a filipino and i dont have an experience to travel abroad. But i hope someday i can. :). Anyway, if you are a traveller and want to visit countries that are so modern in terms of infasructures, buildings etc...phillipines is not on top of the list. But if you are traveller and want to experience amazing natures, people and island hopping well Phillipines is on the list of Asian country. Honestly if you want to travel the whole part of the country it takes a month or more depends on your way of transportation (land, sea, air). So if you are a tropical nature lover make a list on the Phillipines. You will experience to travel different places that looks the same but not. Thats how amazing Phillipines is.... not rich but rich in culture and its nature. :) Salamat po
FYI: Metro Manila, Philippines has a total of three (3) existing rail transists: MRT 3 (from North Edsa, Quezon City to Taft Boulevard, Pasay City), LRT 2 (from Antipolo City, Rizal to Recto Avenue, City of Manila) and LRT 1 (from Munoz, Quezon City to Baclaran, Pasay City). We also have the PNR rail which runs from Tutuban district in the City of Manila to Laguna province. To date, extension projects are under construction northward to the provinces of Bulacan and Pampanga in Central Luzon and southward to Laguna province. In addition to that, the LRT 1 extension to Bacoor town, Cavite province (southward) is currently underway. A new rail transit MRT 7 will soon be completed running from North Edsa, Quezon City all the way up north to San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan province. The METRO MANILA SUBWAY (fully underground) is also under construction, its first 3 stations (from Valenzuela City to Quezon City) are targeted to be completed by end of 2022. Another rail transit project, MRT 4, has just been approved and will begin construction soon; it will run from Taytay town, Rizal province from the east going west in San Juan City. On the other hand, Jakarta only has ONE (1) existing rail transit that was recently opened last year. In sum, Manila has more existing rail transits than Jakarta.
Wrong facts btw, have you heard about LRT Jakarta, Airport Train SHIA and Commuter line which have 6 lines? LOL, and soon we have HSR, Greater Jakarta LRT, and Mrt phase 2 btw. The conclusion is, when u wanna to give an opinion, also look at the facts that actually happened
Jakarta is ranked 11th with the highest number of skyscrapers, even surpassing Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Melbourne, Beijing, Sydney, Moscow, Seoul, and other developed cities. While the champion position is held by Hong Kong, you can check it on wikipedia
The city of Jakarta has an area of 661.5 km², And Manila has an area 42.88 km², Very much compared in terms of size, maybe you compare it because you see some areas that look the same as "middle to lower economic areas", Well don't be surprised, because that's Southeast Asia, and it's just that maybe what looks a little different from the rest of Southeast Asia is Singapore "because it's a city as well as a country" which makes it easier to arrange nicely and neatly
Filipinos are cool and hospitable, they will really show you the culture and the vibe. partying, food trippin etc. And I can say that it’s easier to communicate and connect with the people in terms of english.
Philippines is one of the great countries to visit to foreigners because almost of the people are fluent or understand english but not just that they're very welcoming and offers a lot of beautiful beaches.
Actually, English does not have an impact on tourism, it is proven that Thai tourists are more higher in Asean, followed by Malaysia, singapore and Indonesia and vietnam the Philippines, where all citizens are fluent in English, only in sixth place.

Hey Dan. Hope you will visit again in manila. Mass transportations are getting better. The busway system is already establish and 1 elevated mrt will finish soon by the end of 2022 and 2 more fully underground subway are already constructed. Give metro manila 2-3 yrs more and transportations will be getting better.
I went to Jakarta (AUS embassy )back 20 yrs ago, when I arrived I was shocked and cried🙈 . Although I'm Indonesian, born in Yogyakarta IND, I still had a culture shock 😁
People don't come to Jakarta for vacation, but for business or work, as well as Indonesian people in general who come to Jakarta, and indeed Jakarta is a city of business and manufacture. The tourist cities in Indonesia are on the island of Java, there are the cities of Yogyakarta, Malang, Surakarta, which Indeed, it is specifically designated as a tourism city, so it's only natural that there are not as many tourists in Jakarta as in Bangkok,Even in Indonesian tourism advertisements, Jakarta is never included because it is not a tourism city
As a Filipino, I admit that transportation in Jakarta is easier and better compared to the Philippines, but our government is working on it now. Also, I do hope that they modernize and change our jeepneys into e-jeepneys already because it really causes a lot of pollution. They also need to have an area for loading and unloading of passengers because it’s really CHAOTIC!!. In terms of buses, I also agree that Jakarta has better buses since they’re already using cards to pay, but Philippines is also catching up. Many of our trains are also new thanks to build3x program. I hope for a better transportation here in the Philippines in the future 🙏
Respect and many thanks for your comment my Pinoy friend.... Maraming salamat!... I'm pretty sure that Manila will have amazing and modern mass transportation system in the near future...Can't hardly wait!!... Greetings from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Jakarta wins Sustainable Transport Awards 202. MRT Jakarta, BRT Jakarta (best and longest BRT system in the world), LRT, and High Speed Railway

Both Jakarta and Metro-Jakarta, and Metro-Manila are notorius for their traffic congestions, despite their inter-cities highways and tollways
Another example, BGC (Bonifacio Global City) is a Financial Centre within the city of Taguig.
Thank you..love for your detail explanation...cover both ways and fairly enough...Kudos to you...ID❤PH

I love taking my family to a balinese restaurant every other month or for special occasions.

@@kenlandok5459 jeepneys are flying coffins dangerous
@@denniscabubas1641 tf, no one ask you to ride a jeepney. Lol
I am filipino and i can say both country are good i have a lot of friends from Indonesia
Thailand vs Philippines
Indonesia vs Philippines
__________ vs Philippines
so obsessed with Philippines? 🎭
Jakarta~INDONESIA ♥️♥️♥️
Yes PHILIPPINE ARE THE MOST DEVELOPED CITY IN THE WORD
Wow amazing
@@ahmadin5681 exaggerated! Not the most..
but, the winner award of the most sustainable transport in the world is Jakarta, not philiphines and its fact! 🗿🥰
Wrong facts btw, have you heard about LRT Jakarta, Airport Train SHIA and Commuter line which have 6 lines? LOL, and soon we have HSR, Greater Jakarta LRT, and Mrt phase 2 btw. The conclusion is, when u wanna to give an opinion, also look at the facts that

The city of Jakarta has an area of 661.5 km², And Manila has an area 42.88 km², Very much compared in terms of size, maybe you compare it because you see some areas that look the same as "middle to lower economic areas", Well don't be surprised, because that's Southeast Asia, and it's just that maybe what looks a little different from the rest of Southeast Asia is Singapore "because it's a city as well as a country" which makes it easier to arrange nicely and neatly
and Indonesia ranked #9 now
Many don't know that jakarta is the most safest cities in south east asia after singapore.

Both mega cities have the most awesome and georgeous men in southeast asia.
Love both been in Jakarta before pandemic and Manila 2019.
Filipinos are cool and hospitable, they will really show you the culture and the vibe. partying, food trippin etc. And I can say that it’s easier to communicate and connect with the people in terms of english.
Idc
Philippines is one of the great countries to visit to foreigners because almost of the people are fluent or understand english but not just that they're very welcoming and offers a lot of beautiful beaches.
Actually, English does not have an impact on tourism, it is proven that Thai tourists are more higher in Asean, followed by Malaysia, singapore and Indonesia and vietnam
the Philippines, where all citizens are fluent in English, only in sixth place.
@@ecagdm9159 No, it has an impact but in Thailand the majority of the tourist their are want to avail a prostitute and thats sad.

Hey Dan. Hope you will visit again in manila. Mass transportations are getting better. The busway system is already establish and 1 elevated mrt will finish soon by the end of 2022 and 2 more fully underground subway are already constructed. I love Manila and Jakarta from Philippines ❤❤❤❤
I went to Jakarta (AUS embassy )back 20 yrs ago, when I arrived I was shocked and cried🙈 . Although I'm Indonesian, born in Yogyakarta IND, I still had a culture shock 😁
I prefer Indonesia because Bali is there
People don't come to Jakarta for vacation, but for business or work, as well as Indonesian people in general who come to Jakarta, and indeed Jakarta is a city of business and manufacture.
My city Jakarta is indeed an underrated city, but only Jakarta in the ASEAN capital city has a zoo 😊
There's Manila zoo
