I look at Coop as not just an elder statesman of rock but the provider of opportunities to new musicians that just need a little break, a chance to get up on stage and show what they got. I'd be afraid to guess how many names we'd have never heard if Vince hadn't given them a shot.
Seen him in 73 will be seeing him again on July 4th 2019 at Foxwoods in Ct all ways a great show plays all his hits still rock in his 70 s God bless Alice!
48 years later and School's Out Forever!
The School's Out album I still listen to regularly. There are some great songs on that album that are complex musically and really interesting - Blue Turk and My Stars - Loony Tune - brilliant songs and he had great musos working with him. It never feels dated.
BIG shout out to the baddest ass orchestra I have ever seen in my long life ! WELL DONE ALL OF YOU !!!
I saw Alice in 1973 at the North Carolina Motor Speedway, along with The Marshall Tucker Band, Brownsville Station, and Black Oak Arkansas.

Alice is known for improvising on stage, changing lyrics etc. But this night that credit went to Joe Lynn Turner: He was completely wigging it...
"Schools has bin blown to pieces" our school principal's name was Baum...just thought of it 40 years later and that was just about the time i graduated from High School when this song came out.

Donald Gibbons It began a trend almost every band that played in Buffalo, NY they opened with HELLO BUFFALO. Buffalo had a great music scene in 70s 10 years of concerts 4 every summer at Bills Stadium. Rolling Stones liked Buffalo played here 6 times. Big Bummer Led Zeppelin cancelled when Roberts 7 year old son passed away 1977 Aerosmith, Bob Seger, The Who, Greatfull Dead, Bad Company, Doobie Brothers, Allman Brothers Lynyrd Skynyrd, David Cassidy from Partridge Family. Country singer Alan Jackson. They stopped concerts because the fans were wrecking the football field. That Buffalo that still gets 10-12 feet of snow every winter from Lake Erie.

love alice ,been a huge follower since my uncle turned me on in early 70s. Also watched Alice's CD collection, loved it , but y is glen never metioned?? And recent uploaded still dont mention glen?? After all , she did ask , y the singers name was.....!

I saw Alice Cooper in 1972, 3 Rivers Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA. Incredible show!! The first scheduled night the area around the stadium was flooded, and it had to be rescheduled. One of the best shows I've ever seen!!
