Right on, my friend. I suppose it’s useless to insist on accurate spelling and usage here on the Internet, where literacy is clearly optional, but I join you in your heroically Quixotic crusade.
@CasperLCat I usually don't bother with spelling, but this is a semantic issue. I only found out by mistake because mother load makes so much sense. It makes sense to us because we remember 'the mother of all battles', Saddam Hussein's name for the first Gulf War. But it wouldn't make sense to miner 49er, who would have known what a mother lode was. He just didn't know where it was.
Steve plays partridge differently now. Coogan use to play alan as being totally oblivious to how he came across. Now he plays him with facial mannerisms that tells the audience he knows what he is saying is redicilous. Just doesn't work played this way imo.
Susannah Fielding doesn't get enough credit for the brief moments of panic behind the professional veneer. Wonderfully played.
A quite perfect performance.
I’m a massive fan. So good in her role.
"You took a peep, at my sleep, what did you reap?"
😂
The man is genius in any iteration and what makes it bitter sweet are the elements we can all see within ourselves.
An absolute genius!! Couldn’t agree more.. my all time favourite comedian by some distance… I don’t think his talent is fully appreciated
"I've got kids!" on the battlefield, GLORIOUS
The sleeping clinic is off the charts hilarious.
Busy busy
They even bleeped out the first part of country 😂😂
Basically partridge is genuis everything is utterly amazing and he is so obnoxious the man is genuis 🤘🏼

« Now seat down you lemon ! »
I'd love to see a series of Partridge on History. There's so much you could do with it.
With Philomena Cunk 😂
Keane and the Black Eyed Beans
14:06 "...and as anyone who has ever played squash against Adrian Chiles will tell you..."

32.20-36.30 is the funniest thing I've seen in years.

16:16 So would I.
Fish n chips on the Cenotaph, couple of cans???.....
An altercation with what I can only describe as A VERY big B-E-E
It's called the mother lode, not load. It's a term taken from mining, meaning the layer of earth that contains most of the mined for mineral.

The character is evolving
@@jupitorious7925not revolving
I don't actually agree with that. I know some people do, but I don't.
He’s Bouncing Back.
Just enjoy him
Best of series 1 and 2…Really? Didn’t even raise one chuckle. Painful dross from Coogan
Best stick to Mock the Week pal, clearly not something you have the ability to grasp
The women, don't bring anything to the skit.....the dude is struggling to make it funny.......
Sorry. I don't agree. The women characters in his shows have always contributed massively.
I don't think you understand the format of the comedy and it's appeal to the British humour. 😊
Susannah Fielding is exception in this series. Literally note perfect for that role.
Opposing characters need to be subtle for Alan's imbalances to work.Ellie White is awesome.
@@LukasOfTheLight I agree. And easy on the eyes, too.
Maybe it’s time to take a new look at shell, boom,
Umm you don't put fuel in a turbo charger 😅
