This is a really good looking recipe. I just wish you'd cut them open at the end and let me see what they look like inside. Are they tough or soft inside? We just cooked pork chop 1 inch pieces (I don't know name of the cut ... "Thick Cut" wife says) by cooking them on the skillet. She cooked them by searing them, then simmered them. But, outside and edges were awesome, but the inside were so tough. So, maybe, your recipe will fix that and make them softer. Thanks for sharing and teaching us what you know.
These pork chops are so tender when cooked this way. They are fork tender and so easy to cut. I hope that helps.
@@frugalfamilyhome Thanks for reminding me of this recipe. We do need to find a way to make them tender, because you can find pork on sale, sometimes -- that's why.
Pork..cook slowly first and brown at the end. Opposition of beef.
I agree, i was really expecting a cut and look! lol
@@LesleyCanterbury22 Thanks, glad I'm not only one. It helps to show more about what you cooked -- at end of video. If I remember, this woman went pretty quick, and all of us (in my family) were wondering what end result was.
Are they juicy or fry?
They do look a little dry but you never know unless you try it yourself. Doing it today so fingers crossed.
Can I use wine to deglaze the skillet and add to the pork in the crockpot?
yes of course, I think wine or broth would make an even better pan sauce. I would also add a pat of butter at the end to finish. Not the person that posted this but thought I would answer you anyways, hope thats ok. Happy cooking
@@jendyson6729 Thanks!
Seme honey & whole grain mustard would go well too.
@@jendyson6729 Yeah, I'd think something more than just water would be good, like a beef broth or bouillion cube. That's what we use.
I was all like "you better deglaze that..." and thne you did and I was like "Whoooo!!"
Hello is that onion and garlic powder 😋
Thank you for this amazing video, I'll be off to the shops tomorrow morning to get all, & surprise my hubby when he gets home from work, for his Tea❤🇬🇧
Thank you for sharing. I'm always looking for a new way to serve up chops. God bless you.
Happy to help
I would add some cut up mushrooms, onions and garlic to that sauce in the pan
That sounds wonderful, thanks for sharing.

Thank u so much for sharing this recipe
My pleasure 😊
This is so easy even I can't screw it up! Doing it today with thicker pork chops so probably gonna cook them for 2 hours on high. Wish me luck 🤞
I hope you liked the recipe.
Just did this (with my own mix of seasonings) and it came out so good! Thank you for posting.
