Ive tried softymo but i still preferred Hada Labo Cleansing oil. HL removes my super strong waterproof mascara more quicker than Softymo and that alone made me switch back to HL.
HL Shirojyun is a great line. I have dry dehydrated skin. I've tried their toner, essence, moisturizer and sunscreen ; they all worked really well for me. I'm only left with the toner and Melano cc Vit C essence and it seems like these two worked really well in brightening my red acne scars.
My favorite moisturizer is from HL premium hydrating (gold) love it.

👋 I’m a newbie to Japanese skincare products. Could you give me the list of the brands? Oil based cleanser, water based cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and spf 50 sunscreen. 🙏and I do appreciate it. 😁

@@TrumpToldYouSo Well for what I am using, and for what I knew from others' opinions:
-Oil - based cleanser: I'm using Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil (the yellow one). I have a light makeup everyday, it works best on me. If you have a stronger makeup, pls consider the one of Hada Labo. Yeah, for me, basically, Softymo is really fine!
-Water-based cleanser: I don't use it since oil based one is enough. If you want, you can search that one of Hada Labo.
-Cleanser: I'm using Hatomugi brand, others are fine too with Hado Labo Hyaluronic acid foaming cleanser, Senka, Rosette, Curel
      - Toner: for acne-treatment (I use to avoid clog pore), the Meishoku (If you want to clear the dark spot caused by acnes, this one is fine). For hydrating, Natorie (my parents use it everyday), and the ones of Hada labo, certainly!
      - Serum: I just know Melano cc, I don't use serum, it's enough for me to use Hatomugi cream for moisturizer, and sometimes, melano cc for avoiding aging.
      - Sunscreen: I'm using Naris, Japan is the land of qualified and gentle sunscreen, you need a lot of time to discover them (Biore, Kose, ....)
Remember Japanese products prioritize consistency, which brings a long-term effects and a stable and healthy skin. If you want a rush in efficiency, or explicit results, you should consider products from others. For me, I have used their products for over 3 years, my skin looks better and healthier (without makeup). And remember, only buy them directly in the brand's stores in Japan, or outside Japan from a trusting source. (There are a lot of fake ones, even in Japan.)

I did go wrong with that softymo Cleansing oil. I never have acnes on my cheeks. After using softymo cleansing oil, I started to have clogged pores and white acne heads even with thorough double cleansing. Now I just go back to my normal routine, micellar water and cleanser. They started to lessen. If you have sensitive skin. Don’t use cleansing oil.
