Arrived at beautiful Possum Kingdom State Park. Absolutely loved the experience. This man-made lake combined with the natural beauty of the surrounding area makes it a top choice of Texas state parks for many.

Hey Jason. This is the park where I had my possible Bigfoot experience. Dead serious. Also if you're not familiar with it, check out the band the toadies and listen to their song Possum Kingdom. It's a true story of a murder that happened there at the lake, you're familiar with the song as soon as you hear it if you don't know already

Very nice state park. I noticed many Texas state parks have shelters at campsites . Fl does not do that . Our hummingbirds here are so tiny !!! I guess stuff is just bigger in Texas !!!! Lol thanks Dennis
Good morning Ralph. Those were some very large hummingbirds. I know there are several species that come through Rockport and I would imagine it's the same here. Yes some of the ones here have shelters and some don't. I would imagine since they were built 70 or 80 years ago many have come down. Thanks for checking out the video this morning my friend.

I use to hunt in the phosphate mines for fossils near Mulberry Fl . In early 70’s . I now live about 200 miles north of Mulberry. 😁

Yes. It's very nice but not as nice as your front lawn. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The lady that does the maintenance at your place is pretty cool too.

Thank you Jim. After doing some research after I left the cool service on the other side of the lake away from the park. I will definitely check that out next time. I had plans to go over there at night but I had visitors so I had to move some things around.

I loved your guided tour of PK! I especially liked the humming birds and the sound their wings make, their chirping is precious. The lake looked beautiful in your shots. I could see all the skeeters in your final shot at sunset. So glad you got to stay at my favorite local area lake!
