      @captainobvious4410 5 лет назад +2

      D NG here is the thing God gave us free and with free will people are free to do what they want so good and bad will happen. Without free will God could of completely controlled our concious so that we are not capable of doing bad but most people would likely have a problem with that versus having free will. Even though God wants all of us to come to him he does not force us to him he wants us to choose to go to him that's another important part of giving us free will. You want to see perfection go to god's kingdom. So it's not that God let's school shootings happen it's the free will. It's all or nothing God could of completely controlled our concious which people would of had a problem with or gave us free will, we can't have free will and have god control us from doing it's all or nothing.

      Yes, and many people experience grace and perform acts of kindness and forgiveness using the guidance of Ramakrishna, Siddhartha Gautama, Lao Tsu, Mulla Nasraddin, or their own inner voice, their Better Angel. The problem with relying on religion - of any stripe- is that most adherents don't experience the teachings in the way the teacher intended. Just look at how many "Christians" value retribution over forgiveness and rehabilitation. This woman comes by her inner deity naturally. Her identifying as Christian is incidental.

    Wow I was stunned by this horrific and equally beautiful story. This one woman’s ability to forgive changed the path for this young man. He could have easily been lost in our never forgiving and failing rehabilitating prison system. Thank you both of them for letting us into their lives and showing us what true forgiveness as courage looks like in a time when it’s easier to just let the authorities make decisions for us. Follow your heart and believe in kindness and it will take the win. Definitely easier said than done!
