To the kids arguing about who is the better teacher: I love Bobby's vids, I love Marty's vids..and I love about 3 other people's vids. I'm 51 and started taking private lessons when I was 15 (long before the internet)
. What I've learned is that everyone has their own style of playing and teaching...if you want to be a complete player, learn from everyone! If you don't like someone's style of teaching/playing, then don't learn from them...you have a choice ...it's that easy.

bobby crispy is really good one of my favorites. but Marty Schwartz is easily the best teacher on youtube no doubt. good videos, badass lessons everyday about blues scales, chords, solos, songs ect. the best my favorite . he has helped me alot as a guitar player. but bobby your really good to to no doubt!

Thanks Bobby!! There are some places you have hammer-ons and pull-offs where I wouldn't think there would be and vice versa. I'm wondering if there's really any difference if I can add those in other places too. I don't pick too fast (yet) so that would work well for me.

Note wrong at 1:08. Other than that it was perfect. I think one of the most underrated aspects to Santana (and Satch) is the tone. You can play note for note, but getting the correct sound from the tone is a whole new level; and for anyone feeling they've mastered the tone of this...try Cryin' by Joe Satriani. Check out the live one in Paris. I'm convinced it's brought many to quit playing all together! Peace.
