OMG I would have never thought of Rice Paper in Resin and yes it really does look like a Blown Glass Pumpkin! It did turn out wonderful, Connie!🎃

Connie, I think you've managed a classic rescue. That orange tissue paper really brought it to life! I would have been tempted to take some slightly darker orange coloured clay 'sausages' and smoothed them down the creases of that pumpkin (or perhaps Spanish moss rather than bright green moss)to hide the twine a bit more, and add some shading in those creases...mind you, it also might not have worked like I'd hoped and I would have really messed it up! I love the enthusiasm you have for everything you do! Thank you so much for sharing your trials and tribulations with your pumpkin with us, and thanks for another great video!

I really like your little rescued pumpkin. I think moss would be cool but that bright green is throwing me off a little. But I absolutely adore this! It turned out pretty amazing!! Sorry you ran into so many issues. But you're great at problem solving. And you have such an indomitable spirit. Love your videos so so much! You truly have a beautiful gift. No moss unless you make it look half dead. It's not green, green when pumpkins get ripe. You could tint it with brown dye. I think it's perfect right now.
Will you sneak foam gnomes in a video? I have way too much foam clay and gnomes are fun to see.
you are so right, I think I was desperate and defeated LOL but yes, no moss is the way forward! I love gnomes and gonks so I will probably do that, just to give you an idea I have made a gnome lamp for Valentine’s collaboration, and it was a gnome made using a bottle, it was one of my first attempts with foam clay, so not brilliant, but it might give you an idea of what to do with foam clay 😊😊😊❤️
