I think this is wonderful! I am a vet tech, and one thing I would take into consideration is that when you scale the teeth, you actually sctrach the tooth. In the vet field, we follow up with a polish that smooths the tooth back out. If you dont plaque, builds up twice as fast in those grooves, which can be problematic. I think if you're brushing regularly, this may not be as big of a deal, but if you scale every now and then, it may create a bigger issue. So maybe skip that step unless you have polish or are brushing on a regular basis 😊

This is very educational! Very important to show how early education with a younger animal to get them used to being handled is so important!

Raising a little boy, with the tusks, is admirable. I stick with females, that way I just have to sneak up and trim their hooves one toe at a time. That's usually just four toes per pig. I use the Fiskars short lopper that you can get at any Home Depot. My pigs always learn to lie around in the straw and smooch me up, like belly rubs and pets and will even let me groom them as they shed skin and hair trough the year. Shouldn't you cut his tusks back a little?

This video was posted 2 years ago, since then, he's had his tusks trimmed at least twice. They are currently half the size, if not less since then, with flat tips.

Where do you get one of those toothbrushes? My pig lets me scrape off his teeth but I think he would like that toothbrush especially if it vibrates. He loves the dremel with his tusk trims.

Remember- Mini pigs/teacup pigs don't exist. They're simply underfed, and will still grow large once in your care. Jake Paul learned this the hard way.
