I've just bought a vintage Silver Seal Double Sided Skillet three weeks ago. It was made in the 1930s during the Great Depression. It's still in pretty good shape for being around 90 years old. I'm finally about to start cleaning it and using it for the first time. I definitely want to start off by making fresh biscuits in it before I plan on cooking more food with the skillet. I can't wait to see how that all turns out.
Picked one of these up today at an antique store for $11. Looking forward to trying this.
Mine was $65.
@@thomasjohnson3793 I recently got another one at an estate sale for $5. I have gotten pretty good at using them at the cabin for breakfast
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
I do have one of these.
Been using this same cooker for over 20 years…only thing you missed was the swaggerty sausage…..
I really enjoyed this video more than I thought ☺️
In the outdoors even an old canned biscuit is good. But they don't hold a candle to a real one. Good luck this season. Keep em hot !
Awesome, brotha! I appreciate it.
Butter and sorghum…..
