Can you do that with a map? I've been trying but can't get it. I want to use one map and have those drop down parameters to choose what data to show, like population or happiness score, or whatever I select in the drop down menu. thanks for your work!!
how do you add in new measures into your already created parameter? i've tried editing the parameter and typing in the new measure but when i go to select it the bars on the graph all go to zero
When you add the new item to the parameter, also make sure you add it to the calculation with the measures, otherwise that calculation will show 0. It's the calculation, not the parameter that's showing on the viz.
How would you make it possible to change both axes when selecting a new parameter? Like if I wanted to have the input for the x and y axis change depending on the parameter?
You can create a second calculated field driven by the same parameter with the fields you wanted to switch between on the other axis. You can create as many fields as you want based on the same parameter.
Good tip. How can we change the axis label to match the selection? Eg. instead of price, show beef price OR aluminum price

Thank you this is huge help!!
Is it possible to add drop-down parameter to dashboard?
What if we don't have the price of Beef in a Separate field?
Thank you! Exactly what I was looking after.
Thanks a lot buddy
