Although this is a 2 mins video, I re-watched for 5 times to really get it! A lot of information and fast talking speed, to me at least. Thank you for sharing!
At first, I watched your tableau tutorial title 2 minutes video. After that, I checked tutorials from others channels and returned back to your channel. knew that your lesson is awesome. please upload more.
Sir I am following your videos and I wanted to ask that is this feature missing in tableau 2020.2 as I when I am performing union operation with NOV GRADES TABLE then geography is not coming in show parameters column on the right, only the earlier parameters are there ie. english, math , spain. Please help me out in this.
Do you have the parameter set to update when the workbook opens? If so, try closing and reopening the workbook with the same settings to see if that triggers the update. I'm using Tableau Public desktop, so if you're using the online version it might not behave the same way.
Hi Friends, Do check out my latest video on " Differences between sets and parameters " in Tableau. Thanks for watching. Have a nice day 💐🎉 ruclips.net/video/xCDDpgaj1xU/видео.html
You could do that if you only wanted to use it as a filter. In this case, it's a simple way to demonstrate how to use the dynamic updates on a parameter. Using a parameter would be preferable if you wanted to add additional functionality to the workbook - say adding a sidebar with information about the course content or the teachers. For those, it's easier to drive another viz with a parameter because it's single select, not multi-select as a quick filter is.

Why don't you just add class to the quick filter instead of using the parameter
