How to successfully remove and replace BMW Water Cooled Bosch Alternator. And Avoid BMW 28D7 DME: Communication with Alternator fault code. In 2002-2004 BMW 745li 745i 760li 760i. Bosch W0133-1848742, Bosch W01331848742, Bosch W0133-1848742

So I have that issue where the 28d7 is still coming up after alternator replacement,. Please help. I get the code that’s say DME: communication with alternator. And no communications to can terminal 15 and 50 from cas. Code D12 D13 D14. Please let me know what’s going on if you can please and thank you, I’m using a AUTEL MAXISYS

Did you test the alternator prior to installation as communicated on this video? You want to test the alternator for a valid communication prior to removing the existing one. Please re-watch the video to understand what I’m referring to. you want to work with codes that come up first. The 28D7 just might be a ghost code. (It might disappear when you rectify the other issues). Best of luck.
