I went from running with podcast and music to not listening to anything at all. I love the calming aspect of running and music and podcasts were just distracting. I just listen now to my enviroment. Birds, trees, nature. Its personal i guess.
I agree to some extent, but in my experience, start running without music adds friction. Later, when you enjoy running, listening to your surroundings is great. It also depends on your location. I wouldn't run without AirPods where I live.
Great video! Changing my route constantly is crucial for me to be motivated to run. I get many of my top of the line shoes/gear on the Runners Warehouse clearance section for CHEAP. And while road 5ks are many of us start, i really recommend trying EVERYTHING. Roads, paths, trails, long and short, relays and obstacles and whatever else you can find. I was a 5k on the roads girl... now I'm a 50k+ on the trails woman, something i never thought my body could do, but I'm LOVING it!
I feel you 😅 I'm going back to my hometown for a few weeks in August, and there isn't a single flat road or track, for that matter. I guess I'll try trail running 😂
@@ChrisCammarano I would like to promote your videos (of course for free). I think you have a huge potential. Tell me what I can do for you 😎 I'm a huge fan of your videos 😄
If you have some friends or family members that you think might be interested in the video send it to them, it would help a lot! Drop me a message on Instagram with any suggestions
