  • I turned an RTX3080 graphics card enclosure into a case for a Raspberry Pi, so now my graphics card is my computer. Let's see how well it performs and whether or not I can still game on it.

Model 2.0 - Use a Pi5 and connect the PCI lane to a 1Tbyte drive in the other compartment./ Great project., as always.

An SSD with a full size working fan and a Pi 5 would be a great way to take this to the next level, maybe a version 2 is in order.

Yep, I had the same idea about putting a real fan on the second side and adding ducting to RasPI compartment too.@@MichaelKlements

Should've put a real fan there instead and made a chamber in-between, so it can draw air from the Pi.

The full size working fan seems like a popular request, maybe I need to look at a version 2

Actually connect the Pi to a PCI-E slot so that way you can slot it into a PC and use it as IPMI

Now it's time to measure a 4090 and try to build a ryzen based pc in that.

A Minis Forum PC or similar can fit in a 4090 or even 4080 I believe

In the empty compartment, Add a power bank, then add wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver. Make it a true wireless gaming setup.

I want to see the FAN spinning. Not stationary. Eventhough the fan doesnt serve the purpose.

The PCIe port on the Pi 5 should allow for a powerful NAS build, I'll look at this as a future project.

And where is the outtake for the air that is drawn in?

    • @greg4367
      @greg4367 8 месяцев назад

It flows around the ENet and USB connectors, I think.

    • @MichaelKlements

As @greg4367 has said, air exhausts around the ports on the side and back

Hehe, nice! To make it a bit faster just replace the Pi4 with Pi5 !

I want you to help me with a project that you made about two years ago, but I contacted you by emailing the site, Instagram And you didn't reply to my message. Is there a certain place where I can communicate with you?

@@MichaelKlements I know that and I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but in the Microbit automatic plant watering system project, I faced the problem of wiring, it's not clear, the way to connect them, and I sent it to many people if they can help me, but it's not clear, so if there is an illustration of the way to connect the wires, you can send it to me or add it on the site because I found people on the site, I faced the same problem And thank you for your help
