I am 41 and I re-discovered the cranberries in my adulthood after knowing them for their hits and that's about it growing up. taking in their music as an adult, and a composer, dj, and music lover, I would have to say that she was far and away ahead of her time. she was right on the money on the 'external' -political/social/global- issues she confronted with her lyrics. when she turned her focus inward she produced classics on the topic of love and relationships strife like few are able to.
