Turbo's game was infected by a virus twisting the character. Which was why he was so determined to take over another game. Also why when eaten by the Cybug he was able to control since he was a much older virus and why when the bug went into the light he was still trying to fight the urge. The Cybugs take on the form of what they eat. Nothing says that the code eaten is supposed to control them.
If your theory on Mr. Litwak is true, then I have a theory: This is all in his head and a story he's made up. As a child he probably had a tough life and used arcade games as a distraction. He loved games so much, he began to believe the characters were alive.
I personally believe the theory that the characters are being rebooted instead of being killed when a game is being plugged and unplugged it makes perfect sense But my personal theory is that when the arcade is being plugged again the characters just lose their previous memories which basically IS somewhat like "dying" and only the intruder characters that are not part of the specific game like King Candy are being truly killed Plus I also believe that the video game characters truly die only if the arcade is being destroyed entirely or scrapped IF the characters never manage to escape the Arcade while it being unplugged but if they do manage to escape they continue to live on "gameless" So when an arcade is being unplugged there is a high probability that it may be destroyed and sold for parts like it is stated in the sequel So basically one way or another the characters DO get killed during the unplugging process and it's not just a rumor passed down in order to keep the character in line
Maybe turbo’s game was scrapped and used to make sugar rush. And part of him got trapped in the code because it was unplugged to soon, thus he became a glitch. Maybe he even thinks that he’s just trying to fix his game since part of his game is still apart of it.
@@evanmcnemar5241 It is explained actually in the first movie that Turbo left his game long before Sugar Rush was released he was just jealous of other racing games better than his but it is a neat theory thanks for sharing
This only brings up two things that have always been on my mind. The first being that, as an arcade, there have to be regulars. Kids that come in all the time and play certain games. Do the characters know, recognize or realize this and have favorite customers? Second, have you ever played a game and you swear you've done everything right but you still died, messed up or lost? What if that character is just tired and overworked, so they aren't performing at their best? That aside, I'm sure the "dying outside your game" thing is kind of bogus since Felix apparently changed the game enough for Qbert to join it legitimately, and in the sequel -spoiler alert- the race car chick makes it so Vennelope can stay in the game despite the fact I'm sure programmers would notice a new NPC/character suddenly being in the game.
Not to mention a possible "rights" issue with Vanellope showing up in a different game by a different company (Slaughter Race). That said _Ralph Breaks The Internet_ is not a great movie.
I’m speaking from experience. I actually think Calhoun might have PTSD due to the theory that she has to relive her past over and over again, which is pretty accurate to some of the symptoms of the disorder. (Ex: Flashbacks.)
About the unplugging theory, the characters don’t think they’ll die if their games are unplugged. They see it like losing their jobs and their homes. Early in the movie, Ralph passes by Q-Bert and his friends, whose game has been unplugged. Their game was where they lived and worked, and they’re basically homeless now and living in Game Central Station. Also, you said King Candy convinces Ralph that if Sugar Rush is unplugged, everyone will die except Vanellope. That’s backwards. He says Vanellope will be the only one who dies. That’s because glitches can’t leave their games, so she wouldn’t be able to escape like everyone would.
Yeah that's what I got to with that little symbolism because she has no base code within the game allegedly. Which means that she would die once unplugged.
what new info here? any of them will die of there still IN the have whole being unplugged that's all they will survive if the excited their game so no one said the will die if the game was unplugged while the characters are outside
actually, vannelope's glitch ability wasnt added by turbo, her glitch ability is just a side effect of a mental disorder she has which she calls "pixlexia" which is a refrence to the real life disorder "dyslexia", turbo just hijacked it so vannelope wouldnt be able to exit the game.
I couldn’t imagine a better movie to watch while I was on laughing gas for the first time. I was getting some teeth pulled and I just randomly chose this to watch, and it was such a trippy but also weirdly calming experience.
The Unplugging Theory was answered in Ralph 2 and SR was right :) When the thing was done to that game with Shank (me being vague so as not to spoil the movie), she tells Venelope that after the reboot, she can come back and they can continue racing. No one dies, they just start over.
My biggest question for Calhoun's backstory: why didn't someone else do a perimeter check, it makes perfect sense that anyone would be a little forgetful on their wedding day, so why people
If my memory serves me right; it has been a while since I last saw this movie, at first Ralph was upset that the townspeople moved his stump, and genuinely wanted to wreck the building, but over time got over it as it happened again and again. My theory is that that's why the Sargent is so affected by her back story. Wasn't Hero's Duty a new game, maybe she hasn't been desensitized by repetition yet?
It could also be that, due to it being a newer-gen game, that the Hero's Duty devs put more effort in story/game-play integration. (making it kind of a double whammy)
saumil padwal oh yea I know, but in the movie the double header character (forgot his name) told Ralph that the bug thing (I forgot everything) would find a problem in the code and spread that error, I think the word ‘insecurity’ is used as in she is feeling insecure, and since her code is now part of Slaughter Race, the glitch in her code. That’s why it was being spread
I have a theory that suggests Turbo is still alive, because he took over Sugar Rush so he may have added his own code to the game so he can regenerate.
A character cannot die in their own game, so how would Turbo have dispatched the real King Candy? Dragged him into Ralph's game and threw him off the Niceland tower!?
At the end of the first Wreck-It Ralph, Felix and Calhoun get married in the same church from her backstory! That is basically proof of the theory that Calhoun's backstory is part of the game, and she has to relive it every time someone plays Hero's Duty. Because if her backstory only existed in her memories, then how could the church from her backstory exist? And why would the church exist in Hero's Duty if her backstory wasn't in the game?
1:30 - That one doesn't work because King Candy was rendered in a different art style by the animators. This was a deliberate decision by the artists to be a subtle clue to him not being a part of the original cast of Sugar Rush characters. The main characters of Sugar Rush are all rendered in a modern anime style while King Candy was rendered in a western cartoon (WB / MGM / Disney) style, reminiscent of the '40s. If King Candy was an original character in the game, he would also have been rendered in a modern anime style that fit with the rest of the cast.
The last theory makes sense since all the Pixar movies take place in one universe, this just confirms to me that Disney is a Universe and all their properties are galaxies (Like Marvel has all their own universes. If you read the comics, you know what I mean.)
"San Fransokyo" is the name that Sailor Moon fans gave to the city where that series took place, when they first watched the DiC Adaptation of it in 1995. This was because DiC spent a lot of time and work to localize the show to North America, including renaming schools and other things to English names
Ralph and Bowser were ok with each other at the start of the movie, probably because Ralph was the "Villain" of his game so that supports the Mario Theory

7:01 I personally think that unplugging is just going in a coma and if the games are never plugged back in the video game characters would pretty much be in the coma forever.
Calhoun believes her backstory because she is new and has not learned about life outside her game, not because she relives it every time a player starts the game.
They explicitly state that Calhoun was 'programmed' with the most tragic backstory ever. So if it's just programming, and on some level she knows it's not 'real', why does it affect her so much? Because those memories are a part of her, and she's experienced them as if they were real. Also, since her game was just plugged in, she doesn't have much real-time experience to help dull the memories. Clearly videogame characters grow and evolve beyond their program the longer they're plugged in, whatever they may say to the contrary.
It could also be she's not only a new game, but the most modern game in the arcade and modern games seem to get more and more realistic backstorys, so maybe the older game charecters saw the flaws, and holes in there backstorys, and as time went on the older games told the newer games about the fact that there all in games. But callhoon is not only a new game so hasn't gotten that talk yet, and has a very realistic backstory .
One thing I don’t understand about Ralph 1. On Calhoun’s wedding day the cybug just appeared? Like no killing the creator of the cybug and the cybug wanting revenge? So the cybug just wanted food I guess?
Nice theory about Ralf being Mario... except during Felix's party, the doorbell rings and he says "I bet thats Mario, fashionably late, per the norm" Ralf is at the door, and Felix goes to talk to him, because no one else wants to... therefore Ralf can not be Mario. Not to mention the spot on incarnation of Bowser at Badinon... So Mario is clearly a different game
Most of these are equally absurd due to the whole “no, the story directly contradicts what you said” and goes more of a “yeah, I get that, but wouldn’t it be cool if...” Things like citizens memories... developers would likely create a single behavior pack governing all of the “supporting / background” characters you’d likely never interact with. Only when they are doing more than sitting in the stands waving and cheering do they get a little more time and attention, hence the racers memories behavior pack, and where more important things get more like the race track, timer, the cup, reward systems, ... which each had their own node in the “code”.

Along with the Mario theory, when Ralph digs through the *Box* He finds a mushroom and throws it away. He is a big man so he does not need it. He is also looking for a medal which is yellow. Just like a super star , which is always worth it.
The Mario theory is wrong because on the 30 anniversary party, Felix mentions Mario, who was invited to the party. But I think that Fix it Felix is a Program hack and rom of Dk Junior and re painted cabin, like what happened to Skyscrapper in the real life
Yes, but you forgot during the party in Fix-It-Felix Jr, Felix said "that must be Mario", meaning that Mario is canon in Wreck-It-Ralph and is clearly not Ralph.
Im 38. Wreck it Ralph is my wife and I's favorite 'go to' movie when we're bored. Usually at night going to sleep, its in our DVR so we just watch it a lot. One of my questions is in Candy Crush, when the candycane tree limbs disappear on 'double stripe'. It seems to only do it when they're aware of it...Ralph hung on that larger one as P took off with his Medal and then goes 'double stripe!' and he falls in. Where all the others had done it much sooner. Also when Felix is in the 'fun'geon, he hits the jail bars with his hammer and says 'Im gonna wreck it!' mocking Ralph. But if his hammer 'fixes' things back to its original code, it should have just left them in their current state. Instead it actually beefed up the bars, adding to their 'fixed' state. This will be our go-to and always be on our DVR. Love the first one..second one was good because I like cars, but it didnt lure me in like the first. Plus I didnt care for certain characters that just seemed a bit annoying.
One thing with the Mario theory, Bowser appears in the movie, implying that Mario is a canon character in the movie. This means that since bowser and Ralph attend the villains meeting, Mario can't be Ralph or vice versa
10:52 kinda looks like a giant from clash of clans, coincidence? Or does the arcade owner (forgot his name)have clash of clans on his computer plugged in like the rest?

There was some Easter eggs in this movie I recognized that was from other games
“A hero’s journey to defeat the big bad guy, sounds like a pretty awesome game to us!”
Zelda Breath of the wild: *Am I a joke to you*
Well a glitch is something you have no control of so for her to have a glitch and learn how to use it means she had it all along in a sense
Wreck it Ralph is so cool
❤️❤️🇮🇳🇮🇳
why the flags

I think these theories could definitely be more accurate than most.
This video is Kokoo!… *like my nana*

Along with the Mario theory, when Ralph digs through the *Box* He finds a mushroom and throws it away. He is a big man so he does not need it. He is also looking for a medal which is yellow. Just like a super star , which is always worth it.
3:00 *glitch or power
If calhouns husband died in the game, wouldn’t he regenerate?
The theories about Wreck-It-Ralph connected with big hero 6 is kind of true
Turbo:Veneloppe I am your father.
Veneloppe:Noooooooooooooooo!
The second theory. OH MY GOD!!!!
I thought that turbo infected the cybug not the other way around...
I think that’s a really good idea to have them connected!
The Mario theory is wrong because on the 30 anniversary party, Felix mentions Mario, who was invited to the party.
But I think that Fix it Felix is a Program hack and rom of Dk Junior and re painted cabin, like what happened to Skyscrapper in the real life
Toy story
6:00 "glitch or power?" Nah, it's a bug that became a feature.
7:40 there are two sugar rush games, does that mean Turbo is in both of them?
They seem like the same arcade with two screens, maybe it's for two players to play at once
Bout the glitch theory, how was she not able to leave sugar rush?
11:00There's a game Disney Heroes: Battle Mode.
i feel like when king candy had that wierd glitch thing it reminds me of game corruptions
that last theory is pretty much kingdom hearts in a nutshell
The last one had me *SHOOKETH*
Ralph is not Mario, if you seen the movie, Felix mention that he invited Mario to there party, plus Bowser exists
Luis Rosado
But he does act like Mario, and Mario was nowhere in the movie so him himself is not that significant
But Mario in a Arcade game He was in Donkey Kong but Bowser was never in a Retro Arcade Game
@@takumisnoodles3934 does super Mario Bros ring a bell?
Yes, but you forgot during the party in Fix-It-Felix Jr, Felix said "that must be Mario", meaning that Mario is canon in Wreck-It-Ralph and is clearly not Ralph.
The last one makes kingdom hearts even more interesting
Super Mario is like Wreck-It Ralph what a fib Mario is a superhero Ralph is the bad guy
That last theory makes sense if we look at kingdom hearts!
The Disney characters are in a video game the Kingdom Hearts series...
Everette Bradfute Yas. Hey you ready for KH3?
If turbos Penelope's father than that means fixing If turbo is Penelope's father than that means fixing Felix and Penelope are brother and sister
In the second movie vannelope says she doesn’t have a dad
No she doesn't
Omg the wreck it Mario is so good
I just noticed something, bowser waves at the movie camera at 4:56
COOL
No, he was waving goodbye to Sorceress.
AstroAmethyst --- Good eye.
okay man 😂😂😂😂
One thing with the Mario theory, Bowser appears in the movie, implying that Mario is a canon character in the movie. This means that since bowser and Ralph attend the villains meeting, Mario can't be Ralph or vice versa
A controlled glitch, is a power, not handicap,,, The last theory sounds like the Matrix
Tolvfen
Agreed
Who knew that Fix-it Felix Jr., a funny, lively character would marry Calhoun, the captain of Hero’s Duty?
Fix it Felix is a real game. I played it at the museum of play.

It is based off the movie ya dingus
11:19 No, this is EVERY GaME EVER MADE. Also, its basic of writting any script.

10:52 kinda looks like a giant from clash of clans, coincidence? Or does the arcade owner (forgot his name)have clash of clans on his computer plugged in like the rest?
I love how people confuse animator laziness with 'hiding easter eggs'. A 3D model takes a lot of time to create; it is only natural that they would reuse them whenever they can.
10:52 I guess tiny did dinosaur needs to catch a relaxing break after a while of going on a rampage, and also being controlled by a freaking mechanized top hat
how did velonappe leave her game in the sequel if she's still a glitch
the game’s code reset, so she isn’t a glitch anymore. she still has her powers, though!
The Wreck-It Ralph movies are great.
when he was looking for a metal in the lost and found, he found, :Mario mushroom :Question mark. snake series
Lady bug you lady bug you lady bug you lady bug you lady bug you lady bug you lady bug you lady bug you
Hey u uploaded this on my birthday! Yay!
One thing about “Wreck-It Mario” how can Mario be Ralph if different eye color? Answer: They is no Wreck-It Mario
Fan theories don't change my opinion. It's still my favorite movie!
The "she's not a glitch theory" would explain why she can exit her game freely in the second one but still has her glitch powers.
that's a theory? I thought that was implied at the end of the movie
Great video 👍👍
