Scuba trip to the Carmel Cemetary in 130 ffw in lake Jocassee. Bottom time was ~16 min with 15 min of decompression. Vis was 30-40 ft and water temperature was in the low 50s.
In 1968, when the Percy Preist Dam was about to begin filling the pool, the Corps of Engineers exhumed and relocated all grave sites to higher ground, including relocating the headstones. Was this not done in this lake?

They were plentiful 35 years ago. However, there is plenty of trout in Jocassee. The trout are hitting around 100 to 120 feet deep right now
