    I have no doubt that this cake will win over those who are leery of healthy desserts. I have tried all of your recipes for desserts and my family does not know that any of them are "healthy" alternatives. Thank you once again for another wonderful recipe Sasha!

    This looks incredible, Sasha! I wish I had some buttermilk in the house or I would get to this recipe right away. I love your little tips and look forward to wow-ing some people who aren't fans of "healthy" desserts. Thank you so much for what is sure to be another winner! 🥰

      Just google for the correct amount of vinegar added to milk and that is your substitute for buttermilk.

    Sounds delicious!! Do you have a recommendation for possible swaps for the spelt flour and butter?

      More applesauce, margarine, avocado oil. Maybe pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt. Wheat, almond or rice flour. Use all oat flour.

    What's the alternative for spelt flour? Can we use just oats flour?

    • @HowToCookSmarter
      @HowToCookSmarter  24 минуты назад

      Whole wheat flour would be an option too, if using oat flour only I suggest adding 2-3 tbsp cornstarch or tapioca to improve the texture.

    I would like to hear your thoughts on substituting carob for cocoa and coconut syrup for maple syrup.

    • @HowToCookSmarter
      @HowToCookSmarter  26 минут назад

      Hi! I think using coconut syrup would be just fine, just like any other liquid sweetener, does it come with coconut taste? Talking about the carob, I'm not really sure, it would be a quite of amount of it, I think it would be overpowering for this cake, maybe using half cocoa-half carob...

      Judging by the size of the hands holding the tray, it looks like maybe a 9x13...but I would like to know the size as well. I'm guessing the size would be in millimeters
