It must be a weird feeling for you, you don't want there to be orphans, but when there is an orphan, you have a new job and something new to post. And we get a completely adorable baby Vervet to see! As always, thanks so much for helping these sweet babies ❤
He is such a sweetheart! And the way he looks up at his foster mom for reassurance and then after the bath he was giving her a little stink eye, and then she came in with a lil bottle and you can literally see in his eyes as he’s thinking, “well, ok maybe mom was right...this isn’t too awful.” 😂✨💕❤️😍
They are all oh, so cute - but there is something extra adorable about this little guy! Those cute little noises, clinging on for dear life - and that little face is too sweet for words! ❤️

Although I adore watching these babies up close and watching them transition into troops it is sad to know that so many babies are losing their moms and families , but I'm glad they atleast have a chance to a semi wild life witha troop....So bittersweet that's for sure !!!
There a lot of people taking babies too and there a lot of posts on here of people with their pet baby monkey and some pose as rescuers and can tell that they set it up, and look like they get mistreated. I wanted to report them to these guys, I don’t know how but they need to be stopped!

I'm relatively new to the Vervet Forest. I binged through the first two seasons and very quickly got hooked...even became a patron to Kyle! So excited for the new season, even though it means little monkeys orphaned. Such a wonderful organization. I think I would faint if I ever went to volunteer...one never knows! Thank you all for what you do for these little creatures!
So did I and watched two seasons in two days haha, absolutely hooked. Love the happy endings too when they latch on to new mom and can see their love nawwww
Dianne Bronson they are the best!!! Also what they represent and well they treat the monkeys is amazing!! I’ve watched for a year now and look forward to every episode. I love how much I have learned about vervet monkeys as well as all primates and the damage it does to the monkeys when humans keep them .....even if they give them all the love and care in the world they are still better off in the wild than the best human home ever! I like the name Dave for the monkey. I'm so glad season 3 is now here. I love to see these beautiful little monkeys (or is it monkies?). I wish I lived close to the reserve to be able to sit with these little guys. Thank each one of you involved with the caring of these little guys. And thank you for the foster mom program.
Kyle I'm so happy/ sad!!! But my oldest monkey(my son) has been away at marine corp bootcamp so it's been so hard for this mom to let go of her first baby this actually made me smile!!! I think he should be named Lima that's my son's company!!! Anyway thank you thank you for sharing these beautiful babies with us!! One day I will be a volunteer!!!

You guys when you go to bathe the baby's you should set the water tubs out in the sun for ten or fifteen minutes to heat up the bath water I used to do that for my kittens bath
I was wondering why is it better to bathe before getting milk? Human babies usually get fed first then bathed because they make such messes sometimes. Then bathing in warm water and cooling off helps them get to sleep. I haven't ever had to care for a monkey so Im curious if that makes a difference either way.

FAIL!” Hehe silly monkey, when my baby had his first bath, he screamed even louder. Are monkeys terribly stinky, on average? I see owners bath and scrub the heck out of baby monkeys everyday!
