- Vinny Paz (Vinny Pazienza) is a former five-time world champion who came back to boxing after suffering a broken neck. It is arguably the greatest comeback story in the history of sports. Vinny had memorable battles with Greg Haugen, Gilbert Dele, Hector Camacho, Roberto Duran, Lloyd Honeyghan and Roy Jones Jr. In 1991, Paz was in a car crash that resulted in a dislocated vertebra and two fractured vertebrae in his neck. He famously trained wearing a halo bolted to his skull and resumed his boxing career. #boxing #vinnypaz #vinnypazienza #rhodeisland #cranston #cranstonrhodeisland #boxinghistory

You the man champ!
I ran into Vinnie at the Nashville airport last year. I said “Hey Champ”. I think he was surprised to be recognized. We had a brief exchange and got a nice pic. It was a cool experience. He was gracious.
Love this, This was right after he crashed Durans stage at IBHOF
The PazMan. Definitely, made all his fights interesting... Paz looks good. 👌 Still in somwhat decent shape.
Watched all three Haugen fights. Free tv!! Crazy.
Crazy mo fo but what a proper champion❤
Loved watching his fights! We would get a gang together to watch!
Blew thru 4 million.
Vinny looks like a train conductor operator 🚂
5 time champion!?!? 2x time more like it. I love Paz, but whatever bullshit titles they are counting actually dont count in my mind. IBF Lightweight and WBA Jr Middleweight the only legit ones
5:20. Sounds racist.

@@patmark3059 Sorry - I don't follow...I didn't hear anything racist. What did I miss?
