I didn't have strong enough burst castrers for this, but throwing in Kirin Yato to clear the orbs made this so much easier, especially clearing the orbs in phase 2. Thanks so much for the guide!
@@XenithShadow No, but she is so fast that she can clear like 40-50% of an orb all by herself before she dies. I had her on skill 1 for this stage and I have mastery 2 on her skill, as well as her module to make sure she refunds plenty of DP so I am not DP starved when she becomes expensive to use.
Okay so a couple of things. One I didn't even know the top corner was out of reach for the mechs so that helped a ton. Second if you use Eyja where mlynar is you can kill the mechs too, but you probably will need two medics to keep them alive and use a fast redeploy to bait Kirstens first attack. Now after that my strat was completely different but that is my last point, after getting passed the first bit it is a lot easier and you can try different ways to work, at this point its no harder than normal mode.
Some tips from my run : Weedy S2 can replace cuora, and put water cannon behind her can make the first 2 waves easier before her skill activated. Dorothy can replace kroos, and traps can do some DPS to all units pushed everywhere. Ethan can be replaced by Reed alter, she can assure the kill of 2 balls of 3 if you place her behind mlynar.
The Hairpin like timing really gives you the challenge, thank you for the hard work I only replaced Texas Alt for Yato (For Additional Arts Dmg) Shining(S2) for Gavial (For Barrier) Ash(S1) for Kroos Ceobe(S2) for Click And I Brought Saria to 1v1 Kristen
Man, finally did it. Thanks so much for the guide. The ball takes art damage so I change kroos with Istina (Slow suporter). Using Kroos+ Eyja Lv80 S3M3 Module Lv 3 still not enough damage for killing the ball in the right timing for me. But Eyja + Istina do the job. If you use the same position with the guide, don't use Weedy S2M3. It's gonna overshoot and kill medic defender. S1M0 is enough. My operator is using 6 star alternative, but it basically the same. Just the end game a bit faster: Click => Eyja lv 80 S3M3 Module 3 (Killing the ball faster after the start of 2nd phase boss. But killing my shining. Still Mlynar can still survive with half HP) Kroos => Istina lv 70E1 no mastery Shaw => Weedy lv 60 S1 no mastery Module Lv 1 Yato => Texalter lv 90 S2M3 Module 3 (The benefit is faster killing ball. But don't forget the direction matter since the ball reduce speed) Sussuro => Lumen Lv 60E2 S3 no mastery Module lv 1 Gavial => Shining Lv 80E1 S2 no mastery
I don't have Mylnar so I looked on BiliBili and some madlad did the non-challenge mode with just Kal-Tsit, Weedy and JustUseSutyr. Their strategy worked for Challenge mode too if I used the other 9 empty Squad slots lmao. Weedy is the ultimate YOU SHALL NOT PASS operator in this event.
Nice. GG replaces Click and she can hit all the balls anywhere which is nice. Exu shreds the balls on skill. Reed + Saria is my go to boss stall combo since reed can heal as long as the boss is in her range.
Difrences in my squad - omertosa sec skill, sailrech as a banner vanguard, jessica first skill max spec and module and ceobe 2nd skill 2lv spec, it works nearly same, but destrpys balls quicker, and ceobe kill all karts before mlynar charge his skill so you can save it for gundams. thank you! didn't manage to kill the ball at the top on time so I just left it there but it was fine since you can still block, it only just made killing kristen longer in the end.
if for some reason you're like me and the gundam at 13:00 is somehow killing gavial too soon, you can replace ethan with any big damage operator that aoe casts around self (for me, i'm lucky enough to have s3 lin, but i imagine any stronger ambusher or phalanx caster can do so) if you have long range AOE like a flinger, that would work too, but the positioning would differ.
Eyja and Qiubai S3 are really good at cleaning up the mecha's, plus their skills come up early at M3 so its good for this redeploy heavy map. Weedy S2 can also solo the bottom right lane, given that you have the time to set it up.
i unintentionally found out that if the big bot 23rd ennemy doesn t die, the last ennemies don t spawn, making it a 1v1 against kriestin then the last ennemies felt like a joke, the hardest part was to not nuke my team
Both CM and Normal mode have the same strategy/timing, so if you have no drill plans to practice CM, you can just practice with the normal mode instead. Normal mode doesn't actually cost anything because the -1 sanity you lose after reseting will be regenerated anyways while you're practicing. Basically giving you infinite retries
Challenge mode hit harder, you don't need to push the robot down to avoid it hit the medic in normal mode, the medic can survive with mlynar without problem.
This CM is seriously difficult. It's designed to be almost impossible to unga bunga. I think I saw others mention it, but I personally found it easier to kill Kristin first. You can stall robots on the left side indefinitely with a pusher like Kyo did with Shaw in the video. As long as one robot is still alive, the next missile boi won't come out even when she goes to phase two. That means you can deal with her by herself (except the one robot still being pushed), then deal with the rest of the enemies after she is dead. If you just try to brute force, she'll likely be walking around in her phase two when the next missile boi comes out, and that is just god awful trying to manage.
If you have a strong enough caster (I used lv 80 Eyja S2 M3 with Mod 3) you can get away with not using the sniper and can istead take other ops like Silverash for extra dps and faster redeploy time or Texas/Yato alter as a safety/panic option.
Is there some secret stage or something I don't know about, because the "wings of freedom" medal says I need to 3 star 8 stages in the third phase of the event, but there are only 7?
I tried dr.leons strat first but something was off about the timing with the boss locking a far right ball instead of bottom. this one worked exactly as explained.
This is the 700 IQ Kyo strat. Now to find one that was intended by the devs, because this strat is so tight I'd rather give up on the rewards than bother.
Propably not, my lvl80 Mlynar (max att 1134) can't kill the robots in time as in the video, so i need to use the fast redeploy to help to kill the first ball, otherwise, the boss will summon another ball.
I had the same problem. If you can't get trough because of it, change the deployment order to this: Single block Vanguard > Mlynar > Gravel > Yato > Medic (on CM make it Medic > Yato)

Have some warning: From the Eyjalter limited stage forward, bosses start appearing in *both s3 and s5* . According to calculations, Sl-s-3 = h12-1, while s-5 = h12-3, so prepare Chalter and Mlynar, will u? I won't tell u further that these hellish stages have no ifrit/horny tile to use 😂

If you have an ejya, it would make this much easier. I use texas alter exchange of the st vanguard. DP become a bit thight but i still manage. Also saria at the end was a good closer. Honestly cw ex 8 challenge mode was much harder than this. That one took me 2 hours to complete. 😂

Destroying planets too soon causes AoE damage and Eyja has no taunt to bait rockets/boss or block-3 for cars

If you have an ejya, it would make this much easier. I use texas alter exchange of the st vanguard.
DP become a bit thight but i still manage.
Also saria at the end was a good closer.
Honestly cw ex 8 challenge mode was much harder than this. That one took me 2 hours to complete. 😂
