NOTE: When putting it back together ensure that the meeting tab where the new light & the cover it goes into meet doesn’t slip out when rewiring! Chipped mine at the end making this mistake.
Do you know if it’s possible to replace the plastic piece that is on top of the arm of of the mirror? Someone clipped my mirror and it broke and I’m wondering if I have to buy a whole new mirror assembly
Honestly I don’t have a clue. But if I know anything about ford they like to sell assemblies rather than single parts in most cases. I’d check eBay to see if you can find a used unit cheap.
I’ve read in some forums that it might not be possible due to wiring. I have a 2016 mustang GT but it wasn’t the premium package. Thinking of maybe just leaving it like that.
Yikes, Ford parts department at your local stealership? Then again maybe CJ pony parts or LMR could have them. Failing that local junkyard? Best of luck to your friend 😉

How to replace the side mirror glass??

What year is that mirror? I see two wires going into your mirror. I only see one on mine
My Mustang is a 2019.
