This workout was filmed with Nico Young in late August at Peppertree Park just down the street from Newbury Park High School. The course was set up for 1K in a long horseshoe. The workout for Aschbrenner and Young is 7x1K with three minutes rest. Much of the rest is the walk across the park from the finish to the start. Young averaged 2:48, hitting 2:47 on the second and third reps and 2:48 on the other five. Aschbrenner averaged 2:51 and was consistently just behind Young throughout.
Other members of Coach Sean Brosnan's boys and girls teams ran either 6x1K or 5x1K, depending on their level. This Workout Wednesday video focuses on the varsity boys, specifically on Aschbrenner and Young. Other varsity boys in the video include Colin Sahlman, Nick Goldstein, Tommy McDonnell and Matthew Siroky.

This nico lives In my city.But he goes to a different school so I can’t meet him.he goes to Newbury park highschool and I got to sycamore.We both live in a place called Newbury park.Which is 50 min near los angles.lives in California.I have been to that park it’s called pepper tree park and the other one is Ventura park.
I have met Jace, I actually go to school with his brother in fact. We could have met Nico, but he was doing this thing with Gatorade.

Yep, Newberry Park, I live near Borchers Park if that helps prove it. There is a trader Joe's near by it. Up the hill is Dos Vientos. If it also helps, I go to EARThS. Jace's brother also goes there.

@@christiandieguez3169 Thanks. I'm a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I think running would be a good supplement for my training.
Just start running! Start short and slow and slowly build up. If u do it right it’s addicting, great sport 👍

I dont think he wil burn out....good runners are usually fast young
@@blakefonda4506 if he doesn't get stronger he definitely will. You can tell how much labor he puts on his body already just by his form. That kind of labor without gaining any muscular strength will tear the body down over time no matter what. I wouldn't be surprised if he peaks during his first year at a D1 school.
