You really could spend an entire day in one. I'm sure that we missed so much because it seems to just be never ending. It's funny that you mentioned Famous Dave's pickles. We seriously had lunch there today. Gentry had an orthodontist appointment and right across the street is a Famous Daves. Their pickled onions and pickles came with our meal....they're so good. Love this place. We go as a family outing quite often! Like a bar, aquarium, museum and trip around the world all in one (oh yeah and we can get our groceries!)
Jungle Jim's: basically "Foodfight!" if it had spread to the store! And somehow it's still better that the actual movie! If anything, it's more fun. I mean, really! Who'd rather watch an animated movie with a story that seems like a tornado had struck it, unpleasant humor, animation that somehow looks worse than both "Norm of the North", and "The Emoji Movie" combined, and characters that just add to the movie's unpleasantness, or go to this actual grocery store? I haven't been there, but it looks like somewhere our family would really enjoy, probably most especially my Papa.

I had never heard of Jungle Jim's until I saw your previous video about the other location. It was cool to see what this location looks like as well. Animatronics and a giant boat in a grocery store. That is amazing. Very cool theming. Loved Sherwood Forest especially. Going to the store would be a lot more fun... if only we didn't live several states away!

my absolute favorite store to shop i go once month, fairfield is slipping a bit, of all stores n my area of forest park jungle jim always has fully charged motorized scooters for handicapped shoppers, however the new scooters suck they die on u amid shopping.

Jungle Jim's Fairfield (vs Eastgate) is my go to grocery store for top quality produce and meats, as well as hard to find spices and international ingredients. That said, with few exceptions, I stay out of the American grocery aisles because their prices on "regular" groceries are much higher than other big chain grocery stores.

If anyone loves Harry Potter and hasn't tasted butter beer well you can get 2 different kinds of butter beer there. One is definitely HP inspired while the other is just a butter flavored soda. Both are delish. The Butter Beer one is a Butterscotch and the other actually taste like butter but with a fizz. They also have just about every flavor of jelly beans and taffy you can think of.
We've tried a version of their butter beer before. They are delicious. Our favorite butter beer has been at Universal Studios and also at Cumberland Jack's in Gatlinburg. Those are also amazing. Just went here yesterday, it was awful. Like a mall on black Friday in 2004. Shoulder to shoulder as far as you can see, can barely breathe in that place.
love this! here in northern va (lib town) they got rid of titles like ‘asian, hispanic, etc” saying its racist, so just today, i was at giant food, in centreville, va, looking for some soy sauce and duck sauce. i went all through what they call the ‘international’ isle… nothing there. i went through the rice isle….nothing.. so i finally found all the asian sauces in the mac and cheese isle. lol. really?? it said mac and cheese on the sign hanging over top there. so, i may have to move to ohio and live near normal non offended people.
That is wild that they won't label foods originating from other countries as their actual origin. It should be an honor and they should have pride in it, like the Hamburger originating from Hamburg, Germany. We're glad to hear that you were able to find the sauces because we would have never found them in the macoroni aisle. We live in Tennessee and they have not yet banned foods from being labeled from their origin. Thank you.I had never heard of Jungle Jim’s .So I found this really interesting.I live in the Pacific Northwest,and live across the river from Idaho.I bought some of those Idaho candy bars a few months ago to send to someone.But I don’t think there is any potato in them.I was surprised.
There are 2 Jungle Jim's locations in Ohio. We wish that we had one closer to where we live. It sure would make grocery shopping more exciting. We agree and wish that we had one closer to our home as well. It would definitely break up the monotony of grocery shopping. Jungle Jim's Fairfield (vs Eastgate) is my go to grocery store for top quality produce and meats, as well as hard to find spices and international ingredients. That said, with few exceptions, I stay out of the American grocery aisles because their prices on "regular" groceries are much higher than other big chain grocery stores.

If anyone loves Harry Potter and hasn't tasted butter beer well you can get 2 different kinds of butter beer there. One is definitely HP inspired while the other is just a butter flavored soda. Both are delish. The Butter Beer one is a Butterscotch and the other actually taste like butter but with a fizz. They also have just about every flavor of jelly beans and taffy you can think of.
We've tried a version of their butter beer before. They are delicious. Our favorite butter beer has been at Universal Studios and also at Cumberland Jack's in Gatlinburg. Those are also amazing. We're so glad that you share a love of Jungle Jim's as well. It's such an awesome place to visit. Have a great evening, Tara.

Just went here yesterday, it was awful. Like a mall on black Friday in 2004. Shoulder to shoulder as far as you can see, can barely breathe in that place.
love this! here in northern va (lib town) they got rid of titles like ‘asian, hispanic, etc” saying its racist, so just today, i was at giant food, in centreville, va, looking for some soy sauce and duck sauce. i went all through what they call the ‘international’ isle… nothing there. i went through the rice isle….nothing.. so i finally found all the asian sauces in the mac and cheese isle. lol. really?? it said mac and cheese on the sign hanging over top there. so, i may have to move to ohio and live near normal non offended people.
That is wild that they won't label foods originating from other countries as their actual origin. It should be an honor and they should have pride in it, like the Hamburger originating from Hamburg, Germany. We're glad to hear that you were able to find the sauces because we would have never found them in the macoroni aisle. We live in Tennessee and they have not yet banned foods from being labeled from their origin.
