I can't imagine that anyone could sit through a sermon where a pastor calls God a liar. Unbelievable.
The question going through my mind is how many bought the baloney she told them. She would have caused them to stray from God's word.

This may sound crazy to everyone, but everything that woman said personifies traditional Christianity as a whole. All of the denominations took it upon themselves to reinterpret the Bible in a way that justifies their existence and their beliefs. If the opposite was true, there wouldn't be any denominations. 1 Cor. 1 clearly teaches against their existence, and yet here we are in 2023 with multitudes of "Christian" sects.
My old man was a pastor, he would have told this woman, "Some people are gonna bust hell wide open." To lead people down this path is horrible.

May the Word of God penetrate through your bones and joints, into her very soul. May she freely drink water from the spring of life. May she be driven to her knees and call out to God for forgiveness.

How is the following Bible verses reconciled with the New Testament and the Christian church when it is written that one of God's holy spirits (verses 21 & 22) puts lies in the mouth of certain prophets? Could this also have happened to the writers of the New Testament?

19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

She is referring to the passage that says: "in the day you eat of the fruit you shall die", which they did eat but did NOT die on that same day. So technically, she is right. Haven't you read all the Bible verses where "God" allegedly claims he deceives people and even his own prophets? Google "9 Bible verses about God Deceiving" and read the verses for yourself.
Anyone who knows the Word would get up and leave. Those who sit through this are there to have their ears tickled and that is dangerous.

God is sovereign and obligated to work in people and ways according to his purpose and plan. This doesn’t mean we are in a position to do the same. Context and a historical background to each chapter is important too, for it is easy to read a verse and make a rash judgement.

Before I was born again, I used to think I was a good person, until the Holy Spirit convicted me of my sîns, and showed me the truth about how God sees me, and God sees me as unrighteous, and any righteousness I believe I have is filthy rags next to His perfect righteousness, which is why I need Jesus Christ as my Savior, and His shed ßIood as a covering for my sîns, so YHVH can justly forgive me, and declare me righteous by faith. I now understand why Paul laments that no good thing dwells in his flesh, because the spiritual blindness I used to have has been lifted by God’s mercy and grace, and I am redeemed by the precious ßIood of Christ. Praise Jesus, to the glory of YHVH!

A friend of my wife from nursing school married a Presbyterian minister About 4 years ago this church left the Presbyterian Church USA and joined the believing Evangelical Covenant order of Presbyterians. This is God's faithful remenant church..

Haven't you read all the Bible verses where "God" allegedly claims he deceives people and even his own prophets? Google "9 Bible verses about God Deceiving" and read the verses for yourself.

Yes, in times of despair, some Old Testament prophets accused God of deceiving them, but that doesn't mean God actually lied. I guess you've never read the passages that say God cannot lie?
