😄 oh Jeanette , I completely understood your DIY advent plan, but maybe I too have troubles finding my words. I had chemo for breast cancer 10 years ago and have struggled with menopause symptoms since. First I blamed brain fog on chemo, then on menopause then my husband had a hemorrhagic stroke 2 years ago and now I blame it on stress. He is doing amazingly well, but now retired and sometimes we laugh at who corrects who the most for word finding. This month we moved my mother into long term care for vascular dementia. Oh boy that puts a spin on just how to care for one’s brain health. I love the Woodland Whimsy patterns and better look into that book as well and your sweaters are coming along marvellously! Take care!

Oh wow you have been through the mill, but so pleased you’re still laughing with your husband. Life can be difficult at times and sometime I do wonder why us…. But then I realise is isn’t just us 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m sure you would love the woodland whimsy pattern book, it’s just adorable with the most amazing patterns. Xxx

I think your idea of a home made Advent for your teddies is a lovely idea and I’ll look forward to that! Hazel is beautiful and glad she’s finished so wonderfully. You are so talented Jeanette. I think packing your birds away to make room for new things is a good idea and they are now well protected from moths too! In a small space you have to be practical sometimes!

I find that once the toy animal is made, making the clothes and accessories is such fun. You have a great idea to make the advent for the teddies yourself. I like to use the bits of weird yarn, like eyelash yarn, for trims and such on the clothes. You can pull things together and have Tim wrap and number them so it will be a daily surprise.🤗
    Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jeanette, I think the idea of making the teddy clothes, wrapping them up and then opening them as a Christmas advent is inspired. Yes, you know what you've made but, like when you go to the box containing your birds to give them an airing, it will be exciting because it will still be a surprise. Hazel is gorgeous, the blue cape matches the flowers beautifully and she looks very elegant! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished 12 Advent jumpers x

First of all-I can now crochet!!! After watching your RUclips channel and seeing all the cute designs you make, I had to finally learn. I’ve been a knitter for years and just couldn’t hold the yarn correctly for crochet. At least that’s what I thought!! The same day I decided to learn, there was a class starting the next day at my local yarn shop…and I’ve been crocheting ever since! Thank you for being the inspiration! I love it!
Also-have you had your thyroid levels checked recently? When my numbers are off I get that same exact issue with words being trapped in my brain-and I’m a total talker. Thanks again for everything you do with your channel!! XX Lindsay
