Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Recipe

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. If I'm going to take the time to bring out the old fashioned oats in the morning, I want something worthwhile. I love this apple cinnamon oatmeal! The cinnamon and brown sugar definitely make this a decadent breakfast. In my recipe I only add milk, but this would be just as good if made with water or a mix of the two.

Just a note: I think the cinnamon was a bit extra and I added a whole apple not half a one.
Also, adding milk when serving is literally essential it makes its taste more perfect.

Yummy! I've been recently trying to get away from microwave oats and microwaving in general. This was helpful! I bet pears would be good too! Would quick oats work or should I get the not quick kind lol?!

Ohhh I bet pears would be good too! Cranberries are quite nice also, and then topped with some pecans. I haven't made them with quick oats. I'm sure they would work, probably just need to adjust the cooking time down!
