Absolutely beautiful addition to the Porsche family Roger & more than deserving of your excellent camera work and eloquent, enticing review. Thanks as always for sharing, I will definitely be watching this one again. Regards ........... Geof
Great review Roger. I am taking delivery of a 992 C2S next week and I have pretty much watched all of the reviews on RUclips and this is one of the better ones.
It's interesting to hear it's as good as the coupe, I've heard others say that too, what a brilliant car, great review Roger, keep up the good work ;-)
I'm sure that you know what point of the car is beautiful. The camera angles are awesome! Thanks for such a great video. And I just subscribed your channel ;)
They've fixed the slope of the roof line down the back so it finally has the same lines as the coupe. Huge improvement! I personally don't care for the sport design package along the sides, it kind of makes the car look fat instead of sleek. Ours is coming in January, Agate Grey with satin aurum wheels. Nice video, good camera skills Roger.
Another great video Roger (I subscribed long ago). I really like your turn of phrase ~ the price Porsche is asking is the cost of no compromise - I agree fully. Your narration and cinematography as so well composed and choreographed! I owned a 914 before a 964 coupe; no question, the feeling and sound of the air rushing by is really pleasant. I don’t doubt your researched, but I am really surprised that 1/3 of Porsches sold have been convertibles in one form or another. Given the rigidity issues prior to the 992, I would have anticipated that the predominance of Porsche owners would have chosen handling performance over ambiance.
Stupid question guys... I'm looking to purchase a 911 992 cabriolet and my dilemma is finding any kind of solutions to bike carriers and ski racks... I know it sounds silly, but I love convertibles and I really don't want to drive my toyota tacoma every time I want to ride my bikes or ski the slopes. Thanks!!!!!
As always excellent cinematography. This time i felt narration was what stood out abit extra however! Beautiful 992, especially the back looks simple but refined! 👌

Roger this is a mighty fine looking car. It’s a perfect spec for me with the colours and the 12 second conversion both practical and stylish. The rear end lighting and the overall sports design pack is fantastic. This has the looks, the 450 BHP performance and CLASSY street presence for a daily driver. You have that smug grin on your driving face which is a sure sign it’s a car to own and enjoy!

Great video Roger. It was ALMOST enough to convince me to swap my 991 coupe for a cabriolet! Unfortunately I live in Scotland where the weather is even worse than in England 😢 Tbh at the time I was very close to getting a 991.1 cabriolet over my coupe but settled for a coupe equipped with a sunroof!

thanks Madhu, the 992 is generally an all round improvement in feel over the 991.2 fun factor is the same, I'd take the S rather than the 4S and yes I used a bit of cinematic license with the launch demo by splicing in a bit of footage from another car - good spot !

Porsche seem to have this knack of making a fantastically capable drivers car that will launch you down the road faster than you realise and melt your face off, and then with the simple press of a button, it's becomes a fantastically capable everyday drivers car that'll calm you down when you want to. With or without a roof!! Does any other car manufacturer come close to them? Ferrari? Lambo? Aston? Hmmm.... Nope!! I'd say the nearest would be McClaren. But then you add in rock solid build quality and reliability and even McClaren will fade into the distance. Gorgeous car RB. Great video too :-))... Your No1 Stalker :-))...
