For the record, I'm still on this mountain more than a year after first discovering this drama, I'm now rewatching it for the third time and I still can't get over how good everything is. Thank you so much, Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun and the entire crew. Thank you Youku for keeping it online at least here. Looking forward to the day it gets proper recognition and anniversary events in China again.

I just finished WOH and it was such a wonderful experience. The last drama that put me through so many emotions was The Untamed.
I'll probably rewatch this drama in the near future, I loved it.
I must mention I absolutely fell in love with Zhang Zhehan. His face is a work of art, I couldn't stop looking at him, he is so freaking beautiful. His acting was seriously outstanding as well, he is really talented. I just learned what happened to him and it made me angry and sad, I was looking forward to watching more dramas with him...

@@olivi9853 Zhe Han was exposed by the media that he had paid a visit to Yasukuni Shrine during his trip to Japan in earlier years. This act is deemed as an act of treachery towards his country and he was called traitor of the nation by his people. He later apologised that it was purely due to his ignorance to the shrine history, however, his country government has later on issued a statement that such behaviour is unacceptable and unforgivable. Within a few hours, he was stripped of every brand modelling and sponsorships. His social media and work account were all deleted by Weibo. Every work he has involved in (dramas, songs, commercials, products) were completely removed from every Chinese platform. He is now being banned completely by his country from working in the entertainment industry.

This is an international platform, youku, i hope you will not remove this drama. You cannot deny the hardwork by the team, zzh did a fantastic job. This drama is about redemption but no one is willing to forgive him for wat he did 3 years ago. People grow up and people change over time. I believe what i saw over this period wasnt fake, he is a genuine nice mature man. He apologised for him past mistake but no chance was given. Its ridiculous. Ruining someone is just so easy.
and Youku is a China-owned company. If it's gone from Mainland China, this will definitely follow. There's no confirmation yet though, but pleading Youku serves no meaning.

Word of Honor is the one of the best Wuxia dramas I have watched in recent years. WenKeXing is my favorite character and Gong Jun portrayed the role so well! His first appearance as the chillingly ruthless Leader of the Ghost Valley in episode 1 was so cool!
It's already been 3 years since it came out . When the whole world was suffering from covid , this drama came out . I still remember for 3 months i ignored this drama and kept it on hold to watch later . After 3 months i watched it and till then all episodes were out , for 2 days and half i watched straight and finished this drama . ❤❤

I had to come back here to say it would be wrong and unfair of Youku to take this show down just because of Zhang Zhehan. Even though he did something insensitive, I don't think he meant to be deliberate about it. How can anyone watch this show about two men finding redemption and love in each other, but completely shun the actor for something he did 3 years ago? Just because he's massively popular now doesn't give anyone the right to dig into his past, invade his privacy, and destroy his career in one fell swoop.
